Wasn't very international friendly in Feb 2024. The guy checking for ID pushed me down the stairs aggressively when I was trying to show him my passport. Went back in line and tried to explain the situation to him and got pushed down even more aggressively.

Rating is for what it is: A 1,000% 5-star ghetto-fabulous dive bar - the best I've seen in the area - perfectly right on point. And not cliche in concept - they literally have the cheapest drinks and shots, and $4 tamales - I had 3! And or the low price of $12, I may add. Tamales were so surprisingly legit.

They will charge you $5 per person to walk up the stairs for karaoke to find out the karaoke list is closed. Then tell you they don't need your business because they "have plenty."
