We recently ordered lunch for our office from Saladelia Cafe + Catering and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with something for everyone on our team to enjoy. Everything arrived on time and well organized, which made serving a large office group incredibly easy.

The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and the variety made it perfect for a professional office lunch. Our team had nothing but great things to say, and several people went back for seconds! We truly appreciate the reliable service and delicious food and look forward to ordering from Saladelia again for future office events.

What a unique experience this place has, with delicious food and friendly service!

I enjoy the cherry and cheese Danish. I had to cheat; it looked so good.

I promise most of the things on the menu are healthy.

They are mainly a catering organization, but they have plenty of seats in the tent out front.

Been going to Saladelia for years. The food and service have always been outstanding. But for the life of me I can't understand their decision to move to their current location. First of all, it's not all that easy to access. You must enter via a service road which is only accessed from one end. All of the seating is outside with the exception of a single table inside. There is no more self-serve drink machine. In fact, I was charged $3 for an 8 oz glass bottle of Coke! Really? There is now only a single bathroom. When they were located off University Drive, the place was packed with customers. It used to be fun to go there but so much anymore.

I had the chance to check out Saladelia Café during their soft opening, and it was seriously awesome. Owner Feda’s super friendly vibe made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in—so welcoming and clearly really passionate about bringing fresh Mediterranean flavors to the community.

The menu was pretty great, with lots of tasty options, and everything I tried was really fresh and thoughtfully made. The chicken salad was super flavorful and filling but still light, which was perfect. Their tiny dessert bites were a cute touch—small, pretty, and full of flavor without being too sweet.

Gotta mention their coffee, too—it was rich, smooth, and locally sourced, which shows their commitment to quality and supporting the community. The staff was really kind and attentive, taking time to explain the dishes, making the whole experience feel even more personal.

The location is super convenient, making it a great spot for a quick, fresh, tasty bite without any hassle. French Beef Panini was sooo good I gave Feda a hug for the win!

Overall, Saladelia Café is starting off really strong. Friendly service, delicious food, and a cozy vibe—I’m excited to see this place become a go-to spot for locals.

Saladelia is so good. A tad bit pricey but worth it for the quality. A vegetarian/vegan can eat well here!

The website says it has lots of gluten-free options & there are only 2 plus a choice of gluten-free bun (could not guarantee the sandwich itself was gluten-free). The employees were not at all knowledgeable or helpful so we left.

Food was good as usual, what wasn’t good today was that I watched a man (white shirt, old, slicked back hair) who presumably works there power trip on one of his workers and ask her to get ice in the rudest way possible. He kept saying what he wanted over and over like she was stupid and couldn’t understand when she clearly understood and was on it. It was to the point where the woman asking for the ice was apologizing too! I really don’t want to spend my money here if it’s going to that guy and I feel bad for the workers

Great sandwich / Mediterranean influenced deli. We had lentil soup, chicken salad and chicken tortilla soup. All were well made and delicious.

A Hidden Gem in Durham for Mediterranean Cuisine

This place is hands down one of the best food spots in Durham! The food is consistently outstanding, with a wide array of options to cater to vegetarians and those with other dietary preferences. Whether you're craving something fresh, flavorful, or indulgent, they've got you covered.

Their desserts? Always a hit! Every single time, they hit that perfect balance of sweet and just the right amount of decadence.

We've also ordered platters for events multiple times, and they never disappoint. The variety and quality are top-notch, making it the perfect choice for gatherings.

If you’re in the area, it’s a must-try!

I was drawn to this place because of the outside covered seating. However,
walked in and saw they had a sanitation grade of 94. So I looked for items that were prepackaged. A 4oz bag of Hippeas nachos were $6. And if you're reading this comment, they dont accept cash.
