Absolutely fantastic seafood restaurant. Has long lines, but it’s worth it doesn’t have a ton of indoor seating so you might want to get there early, but the food was impeccable and the prices were pretty good absolutely worth going to one of the best in Durham.
We tried 4 different fish (catfish, grouper, trout, and mahi). They were all INCREDIBLE. And the portions were very fair for the price. The potato side was super unique and delicious (are they chips or are they fries??). My biggest regret is driving past this place for 3 years before finally trying it.
Some of the best Calabash style seafood you will ever eat and from a James Beard award-winning chef no less. Only drawback is that even though the quality and taste of the food is what you'd expect from a high-end (meaning 4-star or 5-star), fine dining establishment, unfortunately, so are the prices! The other day I had an oyster roll topped with their tangy coleslaw along with a side of hush-honeys (their version of hushpuppies) and a soda and, even though, it was enough...
