It's nice and has great options, and the biscuits are great. I got myself the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and it was very delicious.

My first time checking taterbread cafe out. I have to say I was pleased with the food. The potatoes were flavored so well. I’m a chef myself & can be critical at times but overall I had a good experience here. Plus it’s close to my house so I can stop on the way to work. Can’t ask for a better outcome

My mother and I found this place as we were leaving Duke hospital. When we got there this elderly gentleman was behind a door (one of those older dots that opens from the top so it makes it look like a window) ready to take our order. We've never been here before so it took me a minute to decide what I wanted. The man taking our order was getting frustrated with me because I couldn't decide (which I thought was very unprofessional) I didn't see where you can go dine in either. The place looked like nothing but a kitchen a very cluttered, unappealing kitchen, as for the sandwich the options are sausage or bacon with egg and cheese on toast or biscuit they use regular bread not something like the Texas toast it's something that I could have made myself here at home and saved a couple bucks. My mother and I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, a sausage egg and cheese on toast, a side of grits, a side of stewed apples (which taste almost exactly like the ones they serve at Cracker Barrel), a sweet tea and a coffee (which the old man asked if I wanted cream of sugar and when he gave me the coffee he had put the cream and sugar not to my liking he never asked how much cream or sugar I wanted so the coffee was gross) but our total was $19 so price wise this place isn't bad but I sure wouldn't take a date there unless you're trying to end the relationship ??

This was a hole in the wall type of eatery. This was a walk up type service and you too to go or ate in your care. Service was very accommodating and very pleasant. Food was made upon order and only 1 cook, but it was fast service.
