My first time checking taterbread cafe out. I have to say I was pleased with the food. The potatoes were flavored so well. I’m a chef myself & can be critical at times but overall I had a good experience here. Plus it’s close to my house so I can stop on the way to work. Can’t ask for a better outcome
My mother and I found this place as we were leaving Duke hospital. When we got there this elderly gentleman was behind a door (one of those older dots that opens from the top so it makes it look like a window) ready to take our order. We've never been here before so it took me a minute to decide what I wanted. The man taking our order was getting frustrated with me because I couldn't decide (which I thought was very unprofessional) I didn't see where you can...
This was a hole in the wall type of eatery. This was a walk up type service and you too to go or ate in your care. Service was very accommodating and very pleasant. Food was made upon order and only 1 cook, but it was fast service.
