The Restaurant at The Durham offers a well-executed pre-theater dinner experience with excellent service. The food is described as very good, with large, satisfying portions. The ambiance is quiet and comfortable, with the staff carefully spacing out diners to maintain a low noise level. The restaurant is praised for its ability to accommodate dietary restrictions, such as modifying dishes to satisfy vegetarian requests. Customers have enjoyed dishes like Breakfast Fried Rice and praised the attentive, friendly service.
Recent reviews highlight that the food tastes excellent, though sometimes it takes a little longer to arrive. The Sunday Supper received special mention for its perfectly cooked chicken with jalapeño glaze and blueberry BBQ sauces, which elevated the meal, and the decadent corn and fresh tomatoes with mint provided a great contrast. The blueberry cobbler with saltines was a pleasant surprise that enhanced the dessert. Diners have also enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner, describing it as fabulous and uniquely flavorful.
The private, spacious setting was also appreciated, especially during brunch, where the atmosphere was friendly and the tables well spaced for privacy. Overall, The Restaurant at The Durham is recognized as a great place for quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment that diners look forward to returning to.
