We had a lovely time. It was heavily air-conditioned so we were glad we brought COATS. Our food tasted excellent, but it took longer to get it than we expected. We will go back again for brunch.
The Sunday Supper was fantastic. The cook on the chicken was perfect, with the right texture on the fry coating, and perfectly moist chicken underneath. The jalapeño glaze, and the blueberry bbq sauces were fantastic and really kicked the chicken up to the next level. The corn was decadent and delicious, and the tomatoes with the mint was a great contrast to the corn. The saltines in the blueberry cobbler dessert was an unexpected and pleasant surprise and really enhanced that...
I want to express praise and gratitude to Desmond at the Durham Hotel. I had been calling the rooftop restaurant for a couple of weeks to try and modify a reservation for a birthday party and after five or six attempts, they had not called me back. I eventually called the hotel and Desmond answered and even though it is completely separate and outside of his job responsibilities, he took down all my information and reached out to them on my behalf .
