The Roof at The Durham is a well-regarded restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience with amazing views. The pre-theater dinner is particularly well-executed, featuring attentive servers who are mindful of customers' time constraints. The food is praised for its high quality, with options for dietary restrictions, including gluten-free charcuterie. The portions are generous, leaving diners feeling satisfied.
The ambiance of the restaurant is noted as busy and energetic, creating a pleasant atmosphere for meals. The service is described as excellent, with professional and knowledgeable staff who are attentive to customers. While some diners have found the music a bit loud for a relaxed experience, the overall satisfaction remains high, and many express a willingness to return. Some minor issues were reported, such as water stations not being filled well on hot days and a small, slow elevator, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
Diners have enjoyed the Brunch food and surroundings, with the airmail cocktail being a favorite. The menu has expanded to include options for various dietary needs, such as vegan choices. Guests have praised dishes like Grilled Halloumi Cheese, Seared Steelhead Trout, Jamaican Jerk Braised Chicken, and Garbanzo Chorizo Tacos, all of which have been well-received. Overall, The Roof at The Durham is considered a good value, with fresh seafood entrees being slightly on the pricier side.
