Let me begin with the great! The Lasagna! Yummo! I tried 4 different cocktails, all fabulous. Now the not so great...I ordered a half Caesar salad ($4) and a friend ordered the whole Caesar salad ($8) and they were nearly the same size. The whole salad should of been MUCH larger for $8. The cannoli was not my favorite. I did not like the flavoring in the cheese. Our server. I think she was new. Very awkward. I have been a waitress and wanted to give her a few tips but resisted. Do not ask us every 5 minutes if we need anything and stand there when we say no. It was very awkward. If our water glasses are below half full, fill them, don't ask. Our conversation was CONSTANTLy interrupted, very frustrating. She did give us very good suggestions on drinks and food options. Then stood there and stared at us after we said we want to wait on our drinks. She was very sweet but just needs more practice. The lasagna and cocktails won the 3 star rating.

The place was nice enough and service was ok but the food was not very good we all ordered The Bolognese pasta dish and it was dry, did not fit the description that was described on the menu and tasted old!!

Trattoria Salve is amazing the food is delicious. The tomato sauce is savory not sweet like other Italian restaurants and the staff is amazing especially Evan and Dustin they know their wines and their cocktails they can pair it with any dish on the menu.

The catch of the day was Salmon over risotto. My friends loved it. I had eggplant parmigiana and was disappointed. There were thick pieces of baked eggplant layered with sauce and mozzarella. The eggplant was mushy and it just was not good.

We visited during Sunday brunch. There were only 2 other groups dining- it was an hour before closing - and staff was limited. It took quite a while to place our order since the one server was busy with a large table. But the server was very friendly/helpful, and the food was amazing. The kitchen took a little longer than I would have liked to prepare the food, but I also know they make everything to order and I can appreciate that. We ordered the vegan pizza and the mushroom "foragers delight" - both really tasty. I will definitely be back.

This was a great Valentine’s Day place to go! I am glad we made reservations because they were busy, but despite that everyone was incredibly nice to us and got us our food in a timely manner. The quality was great and I will definitely be coming back again.

I wish I could say this is a 1 star review for the food, but unfortunately we never got any. Our food (including the appetizer we ordered) weren’t even started 1 hour and 15 minutes after our reservation. We ended up leaving because we were starving.

Went for the night of Valentines day. Most places have a special Valentines menu but they usually post something on their webpage about it and still usually offer an actual menu. This place gave us two pieces of paper (one apparently the "menu" another a special menu). The menu had no prices and very limited options... I believe it was 4 things to choose from. The plates were soooo small and the food was not good at all. We were very disappointed in this place! The menu options were so poor, there were no chicken or beef options. Just a very big let down! Maybe the actual food on a regular day with regular prices are good but this is not a place I would recommend on a special occasion

Went with a family party of 11 besides myself. First the reservation was lost. They recovered and seated us. A combination of kitchen errors, server efforts and other missteps and recovery efforts made for some in the family to become really upset. I was enjoying the family and food was secondary to socializing with my grandkids. Not likely to return.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations for 6:45 pm. The hostess told us she had to clean off a table and would seat us in a few minutes. Totally fine...15 minutes later we still weren't seated despite there being 10 OPEN TABLES. My fiancé had to find the hostess and make her seat us. She said the kitchen was busy and we wouldn't get any food for a while. We sat at the table for a half hour without a single person coming to talk to us. No water. No acknowledgement at all. My fiancé had to grab glasses from a neighboring table and ask a waitress for water. She offered to be our waitress. We gave her our order of an appetizer And two entrees and asked for 2 drinks. We received the drinks and asked for bread. They were out of bread. An Italian restaurant out of bread?? Ok. We waited another half hour and never received any food. Not our appetizer or entrees. After being there for over an hour and a half with no food we left. They actually made us pay for our drinks despite the acknowledging that they gave us HORRIBLE SERVICE. Don't waste your time or money here. I understand places get busy but they weren't even busy!!

We have been there twice. The first time, we had theatre tickets threatening to catch on fire as we are rushing through dinner. That was a mistake. We were invited back by the manager because he perceived that our experience did not meet his hopes. We therefore planned to take our time. It was worth it. Both times the food was great, but the second time we could fully savor it. They make their pasta fresh each day. The pappardelle Bolognese was beautiful in texture and taste. There were a lot of things going on inside that dish--the kind of complexity that it takes time to detect. Our main dish was a special, filet mignon with a side of polenta--perfectly cooked and served with a sauce that took it to the stratosphere. For dessert, another special, sesame ice cream. Yes, sesame. It was gray and served with a dark brown chocolatey crumble and a creamy froth. The slate color only made us more curious. As each bit hit our taste buds, they sighed in pleasure. We will hurry back to stay and linger. You should too.

This is a new venue working with the location at Brightleaf. Menu items have been great. Bartender is excellent and all can recommend wine pairing really well with your dinner choice.

we went to Trattoria Salve For a 6:45 reservation We were not seated until 7:15 , At that point we were informed that there was no bread in a Italian restaurant. So we ordered a salad and linguine and clam sauce it took an Half hour to get the salad and over hour to get the linguine and clam sauce getting half of the order. At that point we left. we noticed many tables not being bus and many other the patrons leaving for lack of service, if you need a job I would suggest you go there, if you need food I suggest you go to Chick-fil-A which is where we ended up that night.

The Pasta Fagioli was spectacular even though they left out the pasta. The two in our group who had sandwiches really enjoyed them! We will go back to try other items on their menu.
