My wife and I drove from Raleigh to Chapel Hill on Saturday to try this restaurant. While google and website said they were open, we were told by a neighbor restaurant that they were not open. In fact they said that Vegan Flava is almost never open regardless of what google says regarding their operating hours. So my “neutral” rating on the actual food is because we don’t know what the food tastes like.
Note to owners: (if the owners actually read reviews) You must accurately communicate your availability to serve customers if you want to succeed in business. Update your website and update your google information on operating hours. It’s just common sense. But if you’re out of business or just part timing it these days, then don’t pay attention to anything in this review.

I’ve been here a few times and each time I’ve enjoyed it (I especially like the fish cakes). Only real downside is that they are only open for a few hours on Sunday.
Amazing place for vegan food!!! Yesterday was a veggie day for me so opted for vegan food and my search brought me this wonderful option. Food is super tasty and the prices are so down to earth! Service was a bit slow but so friendly and I would happily visit here anytime I come to this side of the town. Huge portions and the mural on the wall was so pretty
Vegetarian options: All veggie and vegan too
Parking: Parking was freely available on a Sunday

I'm SO happy i found this place!! If you're in the area, i promise you want/need to try this place! I had the walnut taco supremes…so fresh and delicious! My only regret is that i didn't order more! This is definitely the best vegan tacos I've ever had!! I'm serious!! The owner, Yah-I, was very kind and friendly! The location is back away from the street, inside a food kitchen hall, Suite G. Currently only open on Sunday, so don't miss out!
I ate here a few years ago and I like that they don't use soy in their food. The flavors are unique. I love this place. I plan on revisiting this place once nice I visit the area
Great food and reasonably priced. A non-plant based friend enjoyed it as well. I'll definitely come back again.
Serious Ital food! One Love for real!
I absolutely love the food here! I tried the Brunch menu , I got the Pancakes, crab cakes ,kale salad ,beans and cheese grits and everything was so delicious & flavorful & i also got the chickpea tuna wrap and it was absolutely freaking delicious! I regretted not getting a second order cause of how good it was ! Definitely recommend .

The mock fish cake was the best I’ve ever had.Cheesy grits were perfect.Awesome brunch.Very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming.I’ve been to plenty of vegan places, and this place is a must. You won’t be disappointed.(I forgot to take a picture of my food because it looked too good and I had to eat it ?)

The food was delicious! The smoothies were so fresh! And the owner was amazing. He was very friendly and handmade everything right there. He asked about allergies, which I appreciated!
All I’m saying is his food will make you think about being Vegan!!!That BBQ Jackfruit is gonna make you stop and say “Bruh this can’t be fruit”!!!
