I picked up the chicken yassa plate and bissap juice from the Durham Farmer's market. The owner was so kind to give me a free sample of his curried chicken salad. I was blown away by the flavors of the chicken yassa - the chicken was moist and flavorful, the rice was cooked well, and the plantains added a nice sweet bite :) The bissap juice was also light and refreshing. I had to lick my spoon clean because the food was that good. Will buy again!

I just attended an event catered by Bouquet Garni. The variety of French and Senegalese dishes was amazing and everything was delicious! Great mafe and yassa and the best bissap juice since my days in Dakar. Most of the guests had never tasted these dishes and they happily cleaned their plates and went back for seconds and thirds! I will be going to Chapel Hill to visit!
