Tried a tuna poké bowl at the ZenFish pop-up at The Beach House at Tiki Brewing in Cary tonight. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The owner and her husband served us themselves and were kind and courteous. I will definitely be making the drive up to one of their locations in Durham some day very soon. Thank you!

Best poke we have had since moving to North Carolina 2 years ago, hands down. We are originally from Los Angeles, and this, by far, is the freshest, best tasting poke we have had since being here!
The fish - EXCELLENT quality, fresh. Perfectly cut. The rice was perfectly cooked, not over or under, perfect temp. All the toppings - awesome! And such a selection! Refer to my pics. They have a large list of signature sauces, too. We got the Sriracha aioli - perfectly savory with a little kick. We also got miso chocolate chip cookies - what???? They're good!
The shop is clean, bright, and welcoming, and so is the staff. I highly recommend it! They have two locations.

Never had a poke bowl being hot (because of rice!) with raw fish. The fish smelled too fishy, though mango and cucumber were great. Would not come back again.

The rice to protein ratio is appalling for $15 ..I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw those tiny scoopers!, also 2 shrimp count as a scoop? Wow.

Veggie bowl breakdown
5 edamame beans
2 ounces diced tofu cubes (it's just tofu straight out of the package)
4 jalapeno slices
2 avocado slices (I would say 1/8th of an avocado)
1/8 cup shredded carrots
4 cucumber slices
2 LBS OF RICE (seriously... I weighed the bowl on my kitchen scale..its 2 🦆'n pounds of rice).
Is this a fluke!? Are the reviews even real 👀???

Terrible. Poke bowl came with hot rice in a sealed container, a big no-no for poke bowls / nigiri... the hot rice half-cooked/steamed the contents, making the raw salmon mushy, the krab slimy, the crunch soggy, and even the mango seemed to be congealed as a result... not pleasant at all, and now that I've read more reviews, I see others with the exact same complaints. Portion size was also pretty small for the price, salmon wasn't trimmed well, and the chicken was very fatty/sinewy, obviously low quality. Frankly, the cucumber was good, but I ended up throwing the rest away... This was my second time trying this restaurant, too, and it was bad both times. Lesson learned.

Loved the poke bowls. Haven’t found too many poke places that have vegetarian and vegan protein options and this place is great! Their tofu is seasoned and they have little sweet potato cubes that you can add too. 🙂 The restaurant was nice and clean too and the staff have been great! (Also, the staff do change their gloves between customers if they handle any non-vegetarian items, which was really nice that they didn’t need to be asked to)

Best poke bowls ever, and they have this delicious mango punch that stole my heart. They make it themselves too! sooo pretty too with the added flower.

The food here is so fresh and the atmosphere is great. I love that it’s a small woman owned business! They even had heart shaped radish and heart shaped musubis for valentine’s day. Such a thoughtful and cute touch.

The food was amazing. I spent my childhood in Hawaii and have sought out poke wherever I live because of it. The wife and I are big raw fish people.
The owner/operator was amazing. We highly recommend this spot, and we definitely return for more tasty tuna.
