Mama Lee’s is one of my favorite restaurants! Every time I go and try something new, it never disappoints. Delicious and homemade with locally sourced ingredients in every dish! All the staff are wonderful as well. Family owned and operated. We always feel like family when we visit. If you are looking for great food, wonderful people, and an awesome dining atmosphere in an old farmhouse, Mama Lee’s is a must. 100% recommend.
I am writing this review because I believe in supporting small business and you are missing out if you don’t go! After our first couple of trips to Mama Lee’s, I honestly was not impressed. The atmosphere and the house was beautiful - but the food was not really satisfying, and I thought the prices were too high. Mama Lee’s Family Restaurant is a family owned and operated restaurant in an old farmhouse. The atmosphere is great, the house is beautiful indoor and out, and the space is gorgeous. The service is excellent, wonderful, and so kind. The staff are wonderful, and everyone was friendly. Guests always feel like family when they visit. The food is delicious and homemade with locally sourced ingredients in every dish. The food was seasoned wonderfully just like your grandma would do, and you can tell the food was cooked with care and love. The biscuits were the best biscuits ever had. The country fried steak with mashed potatoes and squash was hot and full of flavor, and the squash was nice and crispy. The pizza was hot and fresh with a crispy, garlicky crust. The momma pies are wonderful. The prices are reasonable and great. It is like home cooking without the clean up. Mama Lee’s is a must and comes highly recommended.
