My favorite place to get a wonderful sandwich! My favorite is the Vegetarian, my husband's are the Carolina Cuban & Italian. We both love the crabcake sandwich. It's not on regular menu, but is, when in season, and available, a weekly special. Check it out. They only accept CASH.“
“Found inside the Citgo gas Station. The staff greeted me right away and were so friendly! Everyone had masks on, which I greatly appreciate during this time of the pandemic.I had some fried chicken and a brownie, my friend had fried catfish - we ate, and ate fast -everything was delicious!!!! The delicious batter on the fried chicken was fantastic and only with a little bit of spice to it, as I would expect from a place in North Carolina!I am not a fan of fish, but my friend got a few pieces of fried catfish, fresh and hot, and also loved it.Finally, I requested a brownie without any frosting or sauce on it. Clearly made from scratch, it was delicious!!I do regret that I didn't take photos . The grease was appropriately hot which cooked the food perfectly without making the food itself greasy.“
“This is my favorite sandwich shop ever! It has this old time feel as soon as you walk in the door. You can customize any sub, the Italian and Cuban are delicious. They pile on the toppings and meat. You have not had a real sub until you have had a Westover sub.“
