“BEST HALAL in the 757!!! chicken mix with lamb over rice is the way to go with the white and red sauce on the side! Terrible name... they need to change it to Halal something and get rid of Deli you would have no idea this place had the best Halal in Virginia!!!! Most excellent halal ever!“
“Just like I remembered. The staff is still the best. I got nostalgic and cried a little. I want to thank Miss Kim for putting up with me. Wonderful lady!The food is still the best deli food ever in this country. I got there as they opened (11:00am). Memories flooded in. It took me a while to get my memories back about the menu (and eat a good portion of the pickles) then I finally ordered. I was trying to save room for dessert. Didn't happen! I could only finish 1/2 of my sandwich! I also only finished 1/2 of the potato salad. I wish I had thought to get dessert to go. They had carrot cake yesterday. I felt at home and life was good again. I wish I had photos to share but I was so excited about being there I completely forgot. Still the best Deli in town. My gratitude to all at Danny's Deli!“
“I ordered a "monster burger" combo off the menu... It was the best burger I've had in a few months. It was so good and cooked well done. It wasn't dry and the fries came already salted and peppered. As a girl from New York City, this place is almost like a sliver of home here. I was really happy with the service. Awesome.“
“I really like how the bar is sectioned off and has an indoor/ semi-outdoor/outdoor setup. It makes it real easy to escape conversations that meander ?. The drinks are really good too.Parking: If you get there early enough, you can find parking directly in front of the building. If you are a night owl like myself... You're going to have to hunt. Thankfully there are areas nearby that won't snatch your vehicle up.“
“Being from NY myself, I was very excited to try their food and I wasn't disappointed!! The egg sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. They have a large menu with what looks to be some tasty dishes. So far we've only had breakfast, but we have gone several days in a row now. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the store is very clean. All the food in the display case is covered individually with saran wrap, which is a plus for cleanliness. Definilty would recommend to everyone to at least try once and get a taste of real NYC food!“
