Food and service was very good but when I went to pay the bill the owner was at the register tried to over charge me when I used my debit card and when I questioned it he acted all surprised then gave me back the difference in cash and barely apologized. Just watch when you pay your bill.
El Parian is good. Offers a little bit of a more authentic taste than some of the other Mexican restaurants in town, giving the place a more unique vibe. I also have to tip my hat to the service. The waiter messed up my order, but the manager quickly made it right and my correct food was out in a matter of minutes. Overall, El Parian is right up there with Plaza Azteca and 3 Amigos for having the best sit-down Mexican food in Elizabeth City.
the food was good and fresh, the customer service was truly wonderful. the man working inside was so kind and personable, it stood out to me. It's so nice to support a local business and have such a good experience. Give them a visit!
