The food definitely warmed my heart! felt like my grandmother cooked the food. Me and my fiancé got the fried chicken (dark meat), it was perfection, it had the perfect crunch, juicy and very flavorful. wonderful staff made sure we were taken care of and checked on us about every 10 min to see if we needed anything. the vibe of the restaurant gave a very mom and pops feeling but the music being played was modern, so I like the blending of the two. so, my overall take of the restaurant...
The food was delicious, took awhile to get, but it was fresh and hot The only negatives were the music was really loud and the dining room tables & floors were not as clean as I would expect them to be
1st time eating here but definitely not my last! Service and food was on point. Turkey wings were a bit salty for my buds. Mac & cheese, corn bread, fried okra-all delicious! I went for a social work alumni event which was a big party but they understood the assignment!
