Sorry, I was hoping for authentic Mexican food, but found the carnitas which you cannot go wrong with was deep fried using used chicken frying oil. Did not taste good at all. Carnitas is cooked with lard, oranges, Mexican coca cola and doesn’t need to be fried. My friend got Molajete, tasted sweet but the veggies were fresh. Corn tortillas were not good either.
From Florida, this place absolutely smacks! Love it. Got 'carne a la mexicana' The rice had crazy good cumin flavor. The beef and sauce was amazing, and the corn tortillas were legit. Not some cheap tortillas. Loved everything about it. Only thing is i hurt bc I ate it all lol. But worth it. Ordered it w guac salad, to get some greens.
We always love the food here. Service is good. There were a lot of empty tables when we came the last few times and I never know why because the food is great. Sweet tea is sweet! 😊
