Probably my favorite place in the world. Friendly baristas who are very good at what they do. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Located with a walkable historic neighborhood on one side and an historic downtown on the other side.

Muddy Waters Coffeehouse is one of a few reasons we moved to EC from Virginia Beach. We thoroughly enjoy this local gem. We stop by every weekend and even when we are out of town doing multiple errands, we never go to any other coffeehouse, we always come back and grab a Muddy's coffee.

Parking: There’s at least one spot around the side that’s reserved for take out orders. This was very nice for my last visit because I was just going in to order a coffee and take it with me.
