I came for a bite to eat at the winery and two young ladies stopped me at the front and were extremely helpful and explained very well that due to the concert tonight the cork room was closed. The ladies told me I could check out the gift shop which I loved and even told me to stop by and check out the alpacas and other animals. These ladies were very sweet and helpful for my first time experience at cape fear vineyard and winery I will definitely be coming back to check the...
We stayed at Cape Fear Vineyard from Saturday through Monday. The property itself has a beautiful ambiance and a lot of potential for a relaxing getaway. The restaurant was also one of the highlights of our stay. We had dinner and wine tasting Saturday night, and everything was wonderful. Mitch, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and made the experience even better. Sunday lunch was also enjoyable, although coffee does not seem to be their specialty.

The concert (Uncle Kracker and Cody Webb ) was great, and so was the venue. But the DUI checkpoint right outside the venue sucked. It was on the Elisabethtown bypass, less than a mile away. Cops even asked us if we we're coming from the concert. It was Hwy Patrol. Glad I didn't drink anything. But good show.
