Soup in Elkin, NC

“We love going here when we have time. Our two youngest boys request it quite often. So much that when they served pizzas, as soon as we would walk in you would hear one of the ladies yell into the microphone - PIZZA PIZZA. Last night our 9 year old asked if we could go, as he wanted some sushi and crawdads. Food was as good as always, but I ordered a Diet Pepsi. The gentleman gave me a Diet Pepsi. When the lady came by to refill, she didn't ask what I was drinking she took my cup and brought me another drink. This time it was regular Pepsi. I drank it, but I order Diet Pepsi as I'm diabetic. Eating the food requires insulin but I can plan for that, so I choose Diet Pepsi to alleviate some of the sugar. When the lady came back for my next drink, I specifically said Diet Pepsi this time. As she proceeded to laugh and say HAHA I brought you regular Pepsi last time, HAHA, then walked away. Came back with Diet Pepsi, and proceeded to laugh again HAHA you drank Pepsi last time, I gave you Pepsi HAHA. Now, again we like the food and yes I drank the Pepsi knowing it was Pepsi. I injected a bit more insulin to compensate, but didn't need the constant laughing and reminder. Probably be a while before we return.“
