“The strawberries are big but lack flavor . They taste just like store bought ones…water … Not sure if we came to early in the season but don’t think I’ll make that 40 minute drive again. My kids ate one each on the way home. . Usually they would have half of them gone . The cantaloupe was good tho . Just wish I didn’t waste 22$ on a bucket of strawberries.”

“We recently moved to Ellerbe within the past 2 years. Dixie Burger has become a staple for us on days we want a good burger and don’t want to cook it. The owners/staff are SO friendly and welcoming. We always tell anyone that tells us they are going through Ellerbe to stop here for a bite to eat. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s just the best basic home cooking around (for us at least).”

“Friendly, fast, and accurate service. Had a calzone and it was amazing: warm crispy edges with melted cheese and fresh marinara. Good deal for the money. Had the homemade ranch which was rich and creamy. Very clean restaurant and good parking. My 7 year old and I give it 10/10. Will definitely be back!”

“In town for work again. Just finished eating there for the second time. I dreamed about their tacos for a couple of months. Had steak, chicken, and shrimp tacos with cilantro and onion again. They are soooo good. This little restraunt has a classic canteena vibe, the food is outstanding and the hostess is so welcoming, and the tacos are outstanding. This restraunt definitely proves once again that the best food is found in the most surprising of places. This place is definitely worth the stop, and I highly recommend it and will most deffinatly be back .”
