Food was great! That made up for the wait, as most Mexican restaurants are really quick but this one took a long while for the food to come out. Also I had asked for no beans but got them anyway. But the taco and burrito were excellent and my mom said her fajitas were too. So I’d say for sure try this place!
Was in E.I. for a week and decided to go out to dinner one evening. So glad we chose Plaza! The place was busy but we were seated rather quickly. Hostess and wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The drinks were good and the food was excellent! Edy (our waiter) was amazing - the tableside guacamole service and all-around friendliness made our evening very special. We will definitely be back again when in Emerald Isle. Hopefully Edy will still be there.
Extremely tasty entrees and very fairly priced. Service was a little slow, but I think they may have just been understaffed. I got the plaza Mexico fish tacos and they were some of the best I'd had in years. Would go back.
