They were helping each other, filling glasses and delivering food for each other, the hostess never stopped moving…constantly checking to see if wait staff needed assistance. A great overall experience.
This dump has a B sanitation grade and has relocated their sign to low shelf on a semi-empty display rack that faces away from the entrance. I pointed out that their sign wasn't in a spot where it is easily visible to their customers and the guy said they had "lost the frame." The Trading Post: Southern Food & Spirits is a family-friendly restaurant with a yard for play and friendly staff. Their southern soul roll is a top-rated appetizer, and the Flounder reuben sandwich, shrimp and grits, and chicken and biscuit bowl are highly recommended. The shrimp and grits are praised for their authenticity. The dining space can get loud when busy, but the delicious food and cocktails, like the Painkiller, make it a place to visit again. Customers praise the well-coordinated staff, comfortable atmosphere, and amazing food. The server, Lauren, is mentioned as particularly helpful and accommodating. The southern omelette with black-eyed peas and collards is a recommended dish.
