“🔥 Hidden Gem Lunch at China Garden in Lumberton, NC 🔥

Just smashed the rib tips with fried rice from China Garden, and it did not disappoint.

They’ve got this $9 lunch special (really more like $8-something, but it comes to just under $10 with tax) — and for that price? You’re getting way more flavor than you paid for. The rib tips were tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. Fried rice on point, too.

And just to switch it up, I ate it with chopsticks 🥢 — had to add a little extra style to the meal. Vibes only.

If you’re in Lumberton and hungry, don’t sleep on this spot. It’s affordable, fast, and lowkey fire.

“The best Eastern North Carolina style BBQ around here hands down. The vinegar based sauce has a nice tang and bite to it and it had just enough heat to let you know it's there without being unpleasant. The portion was great and the service was awesome. 10 of 10. Will be back!“

“I had 2 sopes de pollo. This is my first time with sopes. They were served hot and fresh. I asked the guy at the counter how big they were and he said they were small so I ordered 2. Turns out they are actually very substantial and I was not able to finish the two. The pickled onions are very good. The salsa verde is very hot by the way. For whatever reason, they are not accepting cards right now you have to pay in cash. The menu includes meat cuts that I have never seen in tacos such as buche, cabeza and cuerito. I’m here on a Tuesday night so honestly, there are not many people , (just a steady small stream) and it’s just laid-back and quiet in here. And nice and cool on this 90degrees day. No menudo on the menu today. Only Saturday and Sunday.“
