“I previously ate here before, food was 10/10. I chose delivery this time, I will say that my delivery driver took a bit longer, so next time I will not order okra for delivery. It was soft and mushy and cold by the time it arrived. I also feel as if the funnel bites should be sprinkled prior to sending them out for delivery. But I still recommend Alli’s cafe.“

“Talking about stuff. This little country store has a ton of it. They now open the grill on Sunday 10-4. They made me an incredible hotdog all the way. Home made slaw by the way. It was really good. Stop in a see them. The staff are super friendly.“

“Pleasant City Grill is a good spot in historic Shelby. In fact, it’s one of the only good spots in that area to eat.

The menu is standard bar and grill food done well. The Jalapeño Cheese Dip with Pretzel bites is a great app to start a meal. From there try any of the Burgers, the Ribeye Philly, Club Sandwich or the Wood Fired Ribeye.

There’s plenty of street parking in the square and service is always quick and consistent. There’s tables on the sidewalk if you have a pet or just want to eat outside.“

“Wow! What a great hamburger. I have paid $15 for burgers that were not as good. It was cooked up fresh after I ordered it and was delicious. I could tell it is good quality hamburger meat. The fries were good also, they were large crinkle cut fries .And they were fried up fresh.. A friend told me about the lemonade and I tried it. It’s the best around and I even got a free refill. I love this place..A restaurant doesn’t have to be complicated to serve great food.“

Not in the area often, but I was today and luckily for me it was still breakfast time. I was hungry and it smelled too good for me to get any pictures of my food. Livermush egg and cheese sandwich, Livermush was fried perfectly, egg was nice and fluffy, cheese was good and melted. The lady at the front counter (Bobbie I think I heard someone say) was an absolute gem. Will definitely drop in again when I'm around the area.“

“I've been to dozens of breweries over the years, some are good, some are lame... This place is AMAZING!! The Belgian Tripple is on point, and I've been to Belgium and had those beers. They have a great ESB and Sangria. The chicken tenders (sweet chili sauce) were out of this world good!! There is ample seating, dining room, upstairs and outside. The music is good, and at the right volume so you can still have a conversation. This place is a gem!!“

It was so refreshing to see everyone doing a fantastic job, hustling in a coeseive manner to get everyone's order prepared. They all were well mannered, and they got along with one another. The biscuits were top-notch this evening nice and golden and not doughy just right. Compliments to the whole staff.“
