“This is our go-to place every Monday except for when they are closed or if something else is going on. They are just a little laid-back small town joint. Everyone who works there is always super nice. It can get a little crowded sometimes during lunch hour, but we always manage to find a spot. They also have a covered picnic area if you like to eat outside. Food is always delicious. The BBQ is the best in town (sorry to both Bridges lovers). Burgers are excellent, and so are the hot dogs. I highly recommend it. They only take cash, though, if you have never been.“

“My wife and I stopped into Ken & Mary’s restaurant for lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch . Breakfast all day . That’s what we got ! Delicious! They also have a buffet like option where you can pick out your meat and like two vegetables. Sundays they have a large buffet!
If you’re in Shelby NC stop in and give them a go ! You will be glad you did !! Our waitress was the best !!!

“We have always loved Sunny's Donuts! We got my birthday pastries from there this year and they never disappoint!!! The apple fritters are our favorites!!! Never had a donut/pastries we didn't like, highly recommend! Worth the 35 minute drive one way!!!“
