“My family and myself have been eating at the Bantam Chef my whole life and I am 54 years old 🙃. So there's gotta be something really good about this place. Mr. David Walker was the owner up until just recently. He was always in there working along side of the people who worked for him and you would have thought it was all family. They have always had great food and great service with family friendly staff... ❤️ I recommend it to everyone. If you haven't been there, you are missing out on a real treat 😉...“

“My family and I love John’s! His breakfasts are amazing. Of course, my favorite is the huge waffle with bacon. For lunch, I love the cafe combo served with his spicy pimento cheese and chicken salad. In addition to great food, there is a friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to eat.“

“I went with a group of 5 and two toddlers. The food was excellent. It was hard to choose what to get due to all of the excellent choices! The atmosphere and server was great also. Also nice to know you can get breakfast in the evening if you choose.“

“Three of us are here on February 20,2026. Restaurant was clean inside and out. Employees were very friendly and especially Erica. We ordered three burgers,onion rings and cheese curds. Onion rings and cheese curds were very good . Hamburgers were very dry,bun’s bottom half was cold and the burger really had no flavor to it. . Not sure we will return.“

“Meant to write this months ago, but forgot. We ordered $300 worth of BBQ, sides and buns to feed the Abbott Farms crew and my shop employees on July Fourth. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. The BBQ is on point, the sides are divine (you have GOT to try the green beans) and this family is all about God. Just can't say how much we love and support this business!!!!!“

“I've been to this waffle House several times during the day in the evening and also early in the morning. Always fast clean service.
All the wait staff and cooks very cheerful friendly people. This should set an example of waffle House's but then again most of our houses I've been to are always great This one just outshines a lot of the other ones.“

“Waitress was attentive and food arrived hot. Just the things that are great and then you see the check. You’re going to charge me for extra ranch for my salad?? Something as simple as that and I will not be back. If you need to charge for that at least tell me . Don’t just have it show up on my bill. I did not notice until I’d already done the review at the table. Super annoyed!!“

“Stop by for great strawberries and fresh vegetables at the stand. Cross the street for Ice Cream at the restaurant. I have eleven years worth of pics of my daughter on the tractor. Quick trip down from Charlotte.“
