This place doesn’t have a ton of reviews but there are definitely people eating here.Ordered the hissy fit chicken sandwich with the fries.The sandwich looks kind of plain at first with only the chicken being seen. The hoagie bun seemed a little generic but actually went well with this sandwich. The chicken is great, slight sweetness to it. Big chunks of chicken. Hidden from view is a slice of bacon and the cheesy goodness of a sauce blended with the chicken. Delicious sandwich for sure. Fries were piping hot so had to wait. Regular crinkle fries but rounded out the lunch. Hostess was really nice to get the deal done and that SC accent just warms a cold hearted western guy right on up. Thanks ya’ll“
“My grandkids love this place (so many antique memories have been removed since CoV times that made me sad to see gone!) Still many other old time memorabilia things to look at while eating and some interactive for the kids. They cook to order and we always have a good dining experience with our 3 rambunctious toddlers after the park playing for hours. This has been the only place grandpa and myself can eat a meal and the kids all sit and eat too because we talk about everything we see! A good game to play while they eat in Bantam Chef is “I Spy with my little eye” there is stuff everywhere and all I see is the smiles on my grandkids faces. Thank you Bantam Chef for the memories we get to make! Grandkids are only small for a short time and we just want those times enjoyable and we have it at your place!Kid-friendliness: If you tell the smaller kids what they’re seeing and how it was from your childhood they get interested or atleast they should. Make learning fun and Bantam chef is a great place to teach how the generation X and older grew up. Memories are a good thing.“

“Great local restaurant run by a group of wonderful ladies. Our friends and I were fortunate enough to find this little gem in a Google search and it did not disappoint. It’s located off the beaten path but just minutes off the main highway. Don’t be concerned when you turn down a street that takes you into a neighborhood area. “The service and staff who work at the Waffle House on Boiling Springs Road are exceptional. My wife and I always have a great experience and we feel like most of the staff are family. I like eating at a place where there are enough employees to do the job and they are uplifting and happy to serve. I have to give credit when I see Exceptional Service.“
