“When I was passing through town last night, I decided to be like Columbus and take a chance. The parking lot was nearly full so I figured somebody knew something I didn't. The gamble worked out, everything was delicious. The catfish was juicy and well seasoned, and the side items were hot and cheesy (kinda like me). If you spend your hard earned money at Clock's Restaurant, you won't be disappointed.“

“We attended the under the sea breakfast event with Ariel and Prince Eric and it was phenomenal! The staff at Eggs up grill and the characters were so friendly and fun to interact with. The food was delicious! The manager was very present and active in the dining room. Overall a great dining experience! We drove from Boiling Springs specifically for this experience and would make the trip again!“

I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!“

“A must, must visit if you are in the area. Just a slight detour off the interstate and well worth it to visit a historic hot dog diner. This establishment has been serving the locals since 1953 when the mills flourished and folks needed a quick hot and affordable meal.
I went for the 2 dog plate with all the toppings (mustard, onions, and chilli) then I added coleslaw just cuz that is how I like them. The crinkle cut fries are crispy and hot... Everything was so good! I got them to go.ao I could sit outside on the picnic tables with my puppy. I do feel I missed out on sitting inside with the locals and the friendly staff who are so down to earth I felt like family stopping in.“

“Our first time here and it was definitely worth it. We did the Buffet and it included the drink and dessert , as much as you can eat. The price was worth it , not to expensive at all. “The old Country Pride. The new abbreviated menu is the same. The steaks are very good. The service is top tier. I pulled a 34 here. Coin operated laundry is $3 wash/ dry. I pulled some time in the shop ( fuel filter change, tractor lube, and some shine). I had a few meals, all were good. Coffee is hot, good , and plentiful. Went across the road and got a wash at the streaking beacon! It was a very productive reset. What did surprise me was all the litter in the lot. I didn't see anyone empty any of the waste bins but other than that it was a good break“

“I highly recommend Crate Restaurant. I picked up a free Thanksgiving lunch yesterday. From the start the people were so nice and welcomed you in with smiles. The food was very tasty and high quality food. I was down on my luck this Thanksgiving and this restaurant lifted this burden for Thanksgiving. They were out of a few condiments/toppings for the burger but it was delicious without them.

They were busy and therefore slow service but I don’t hold that against them. They were a little short staffed for the rush.

Will definitely eat here again if/when I fly out here next.“

“I've tried eating here a few times at night, they never get the order right due to not writing it down.Waited and waited on service for way longer than I should have. They served to go orders that were taken after mine and got them ready. we work close by and myself and my co workers spend a lot of money there several times a week. The day shift is awesome but your night shift needs to be replaced. The next time your cook has something to say, tell her to bring to the parking lot, I can be just as nasty and rude as she was! I know a lot of people that work around here between food and health care and I will be encouraging them to spend their money where people appreciate their customers! Do better! I've worked catering for years and had to cook and could still get more orders out than that. I'm also calling DHEC for leaving the refrigerator open way too long, letting the Temps rise higher than they are supposed too.“
