“So I have to say the only problem I see is the actual place is small. This food is so good. The service is good. It is so busy but they are flung everything they can to make sure everyone is taken care of. There were some very unhappy people that left before their food came up. Although they made some very ugly racial things the staff handled it with grace and kindness. This was our first time and will not be our last. We will be back.“
“First time visitor mid-October ‘23Traveling for Softball = opportunities to try out new food spots! #EggsUpGrillI tried the shrimp & grits omelet, accompanied with fire roasted grits (roasted tomatoes, spinach and cheese) ?The French toast was made with cinnamon swirl bread ?“
“Really enjoyed this spot. It is surprising because they have a full restaurant menu and a cafe as well. The food was great! I really want to go back for dinner and the iced latte was so good I ordered two!The service was awesome as well and very friendly.“
“Great spot to check out for chicken sandwiches and good drinks. I like that this building was once a car shop/gas station, and there's a few nice features left to remind you too- garage roll up doors, tire rack... Indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor is dog friendly. Great selection of items to choose from, and a nice drink menu too including a couple on tap! They also have a great variety in sauces too! There's a Korean sauce, cheerwine bbq, hot honey, a white sauce.... Lots to choose from. The staff has all been great so far too. There is also a couple fun play parks right behind the restaurant; Carolina Panthers park and a Subaru Bike park. Great way to build up an appetite before, or burn it off after. They also host car events at the Flock Shop too.“
“This was my second time coming here and FR8 yard is definitely a great place to grab a drink and hang out.I had the Tiki Power Hour Guava Papaya Sour on draft which was exactly what I needed to enjoy the nice warm weather in the courtyard.Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place! They also have a nice long wheelchair ramp to make it more accessible which I thought was awesome.Parking: I went during the weekday after they had just opened so I was able to find a place to park on the street right near the FR8yard.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a very nice long wheel chair ramp that led from the side of upper street all the way into the courtyard where everyone sat and where the bar was.“
“This is one of my “throwback” restaurants in the Spartanburg area. Although not frequently, I have eaten at this restaurant for more than 50 years. It is no longer owned or operated by the Holmes family, but the food is just as good as it was decades ago.BTW, the fries here are excellent as are the hot dogs.“
“We were in Spartanburg for a few hours and had to look elsewhere for lunch after our first pick (Cribb's) was too packed. Ike's looked like a "hole in the wall" but had great reviews so we tried it. Parking is in a dirt lot and the restaurant itself was small, crowded and loud, but a friendly atmosphere. We got a spot at the bar quicky and had a great server. I got the Redneck Reuben and husband got the Steak & Cheese, both with homemade chips. And we shared an order of the recommended fried pickles. All of it was delicious. Seemed to be a lot of regulars there so must be a favorite of locals. Highly recommended!Parking: Dirt lot. Crowded.“
“Absolutely phenomenal experience at Level 10! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and elegance. The ambiance and view was perfect for a romantic evening. The staff was incredibly attentive, catering to our every need without being intrusive. The food was divine, each dish a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The wine selection complemented our meal perfectly.Overall, it was a flawless evening thanks to the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine. We'll definitely be returning for more memorable date nights!“
“This restaurant is great. You order at the counter and the food is usually ready by the time you get to the end of the line, or it's brought out shortly. The staff is friendly, though it's helpful to know what you want to order before getting up to the counter to keep things moving.“
“We came for lunch for our daughter’s birthday and had the best meal with wonderful service from Andréa. Our server kept everyone’s glass full, regularly checked in and made everyone feel cared for. On top of wonderful service, as we were getting ready to leave she brought dessert to go with a candle in it to surprise our daughter. The fried green tomato appetizer was delicious with layers of flavor. Two of us had different burgers (Stella Blue & Jalapeño) and loved them. One person enjoyed the buffalo wrap and commented on how fresh and flavorful it was. The last person enjoyed the southwestern salad.Kid-friendliness: Great service! Coloring sheets & crayons, fresh fruit, and kindness. You couldn’t ask for more!“
“The food was awesome!! Deviled eggs and oysters, shrimp and grits, wings, and cocktails were all top notch! And our server Amber was a great time! Super friendly and attentive! Couldn’t ask for a better dinner experience from out of town.“
“I’m glad we gave this place a try. The environment is so warm and inviting, the staff is very nice, and the food and coffee is delicious. The seating areas are so comfortable, my favorite is the couch at the fireplace! I’m happy to have a place like this so close to home.“
“The atmosphere is really uplifting… the best way to describe is a hug from Big Mama when she hasn’t seen you in a while haha…I dined in… and ordering wasn’t the easiest only because i looked online and seen all these options but the dine in menu didn’t have half of those options and no prices… so maybe getting a QR code menu, so when we dine in we can see the same menu… the waitress was extremely nice and didn’t rush us or anything, i also didn’t order what i actually wanted because i didn’t see it…haha {part of the reason for the 4 stars}Now the food is AMAZING!! I did order a bunch of food to try… the ribs are a 20/10!!! Nothing he can do differently to them..the Mac n cheese is good it’s old fashioned which i personally love, could use a little more cheese throughout but still good… if you like a creamy baked Mac then you probably wouldn’t like it.. again it’s really good if you like the old fashioned baked Mac n cheese… the YAMS ARE THE BEST IVE HAD IN SOUTH CAROLINA!! AND THEY’RE NOT FROM THE CAN haha… the collards are fresh And have flavor but they also have that bitter bite at the end, so maybe some sugar, vinegar, chow chow, or a watermelon relish would go good with them… the whiting was crispy, i got my wings un-sauced because it was extra to get the sauce on the side and i didn’t know which one i wanted… the lemon velvet cake, isn’t not dry but it’s not moist but it’s crumbly in some spots, so a dense cake, im personally not a fan of dense cakes, im also not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be.. the strawberry cinnamon rolls was good, the roll itself needs to be warm because it’s rich.. but i would get it again…I also had food to go…{baked spaghetti, green beans, coleslaw, yams} and i can’t give an honest opinion because everything ran together… like the green bean juice spilled into the slaw and spaghetti, so some items needs separate to go containers… {the main reason for the 4 stars}i be back today for the ribs, yams, mac and Arnold Palmer lol“
“Don't know about the food as I never ate at this particular location, but every time I pass through, the service has been Excellent. I do some dashing from time to time and I ever so often get one here and today's host Ms Nikkia was on her best. Very polite and willing to help and get the meals out on time. Unlike other restaurants I've visited, she insisted to help when a problem arrise within the app. Again thanks for your time and concerns. We need more great ppl as this young Lady.“
“I stopped by there the other day and got 2 pulled pork sandwich plates for my brother and myself. My brother had hush puppies and baked beans with his. You would have to know my brother to know that if he says something is good, it's doggone good, like slap your mama kind of good. He said his sandwich and hush puppies were VERY GOOD, WHOA! I couldn't decide on two sides, so I got two of the sweet potato crumbles. Boy, am I glad that I got two servings of that. I'm a bit of a sweet potato snob. You'd better make them right if you want my seal of approval. Well, they got these so, so right. Some of the best sweet potatoes I've ever put in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, the pulled pork sandwich was good also. It's just that these sweet potatoes were everything. If you like a good sweet potato casserole or soufflé, then do yourself a favor and stop in and get a serving or two of their sweet potato crumble. While you're there, grab a pulled pork sandwich as well. BBQ is kinda their thing too.“
“We have had the best appetizers, cauliflower and bruessel sprouts, I have ever had. Normally I avoid to eat these vegetables but I changed my mind. This preparation was the best I could imagine. Also the steaks were one of the best in my life. The service was very nice and helpful. Everything together made this evening to a very very good experience. We‘ll come back soon again. Thank you very much!!!“
“My sisters, nephew, and I were downtown Spartanburg during St Patrick's Day and were hungry. The Kennedy was kind enough to allow us in, even without a reservation. The cuisine was not in my range of delectable satisfaction but would have been if I were raised to eat well. I seldom have steak or fish. If I had ordered it here, I'm sure I would have loved it. I recommend The Kennedy for the casual to well-dressed man and family who like a fine dining experience.“
“Skillet is great. Insider tip get there early. This place still has that down home southern feel. The food is good, prices are good. Only down side is the place can get really busy with a small space to wait for a table to open up. (Standing room only) other then that one of the few good breakfast places left in Spartanburg.“
“This was our second time eating there in 4 days. First trip (weeknight) was fantastic! Food was amazing, service was excellent. Tonight (Saturday night) was not quite as good. The pizza was burnt, the quail was burnt, and the service was not quite as good, but I'll chalk that up to it being a weekend. Would definitely eat here again! So many options on the menu ... there truly is something for everyone! Dress is casual, kids are welcome. Casual, fun atmosphere.“
“Our server, Alli, was extremely attentive and helped promptly with any issues we had. My drink had an off taste to it and she didn't hesitate to replace it. She was also, very patient with my children.Kid-friendliness: The environment is great for all ages. They provide a coloring sheet for young kids and it DEFINITELY came in handy“
“I don’t typically leave bad reviews so I did not give bad rating but this was a horrible experience. Sunday afternoon w/half empty room and half the items we ordered were basically prepared already being prime rib & chili. Waited over 30 min for cold food. Clearly it sat waiting to be delivered. I paid, I tipped but will not be back. Bad experience!“
“First time visiting & definitely not the last! Over 100 flavors, & lots of extra toppings to choose from. The prices, & sizes are very reasonable. They even have a $1 pup cup!!! My dog loved his French vanilla! Great service, great location, & great tasting, literally no complaints!Kid-friendliness: Play area with tables.Kid flavors & sizes.Parking: Parking lot is decent sized.Wheelchair accessibility: No ramps, stairs, etc. All one flat surface.“
“We were in town for our daughter’s sporting event. Looked up restaurants near and by luck picked Dudley’s. Boy are we happy we did!! Hostess was super friendly, our waitress was awesome and food was amazing!! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back next time we’re out there.“
“Great atmosphere, great food, clean restrooms, friendly service even willing to make amzing vegetables options for usVegetarian options: Though not on menu where willing to make it meat free for us. Even add extra chesse and mushrooms to dish.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to get in. Lots of room between tables“
“The food was Hot and Fresh. It wasn't packed but it wasn't empty either. We went around 3pm for Lunch. My Woman had the 1/2 Swiss Mushroom melt Burger with Fries. I had the 1/3 Cheddar cheese Burger with Fries and Two Large Teas.Price was $ 29.00Parking: Parking all around RestaurantKid-friendliness: Yes... Your Children will Love it here.Wheelchair accessibility: Cement ramp in Front“
“Nov 2023 - Post annual day after Thanksgiving Hike. Rip knew the most local spot for refreshments near where we left the extra car. Not sure Charlie’s was open at 2:30 on Friday. But we were the only customers for soft drinks and ice cream. Nice art of “Charlie?”“
“Me and the wife amd kids love this place... the wings are to die for(especially lime pepper) and the drinks are good and cold everytime(beer) and the service is great also. Ribs are another plus at this place and the decor is very sporty. Lots of t.v. for big games and full bar. I must say this is a win“
“Let's start with service. We went on Christmas Eve in the evening and the staff was happy and helpful. That's rare to have that on a late night and especially a holiday. The place was pretty empty (hello Christmas Eve, lol) but festively decorated with a huge nutcracker. Our food was hot and as ordered. I liked the fries a lot more than the burger but I always find those little meat pieces that throw chewing off when I eat ground beef. Nothing against the location. Overall very happy with the staff and location.“
“Always a good time . If they are closed it’s for an important reason . And when they are open so are their arms and minds so never feel like an outsider come on in say hi and I’m sure someone going to greet u just as equally as u do them.“
“Stopped in after passing by it for some time now. I ordered the shrimp hibachi and it was delicious! The shrimp perfectly charred and seasoned and their sweet carrots are significantly better than Fujis ? if I was to change anything it would be to have a noodle option (which I could have easily missed on the menu ?) and some kind of expansion on the menu ❤️?Parking: Plenty of parking spaceKid-friendliness: Staff was friendly to my toddler and offered TV commodationsWheelchair accessibility: Level ground and open seating making it comfortable for those in a wheelchair/device“
“A while back I experienced a hankering for lox & bagels. So, I searched for a place to that offered this item (unfortunately, in this part of the country classic delis are a bit hard to find). Broadway Bagels popped up, and my wife and I sampled their offering on a Saturday morning breakfast outing. This was our first visit to this establishment, and the initial impression was that we were welcomed by the fragrant, delicious smell of the food being prepared. It smelled like you would want a deli to smell upon entering. Since we were on a mission to scratch our lox & bagels itch, we knew the contents we would select - now, to choose what type of bagel, and they have many to offer. I chose the onion and my wife went with the plain. I wanted all the trimmings with my sandwich - 4 oz. of lox, generous cream cheese, a slice of tomato and plenty of capers. They were not stingy in loading up the bagel! My wife suggests that for most people 2 oz. would be sufficient. The lox & bagels were great, and I am pleased to have a new dining place for bagel options. I failed to take a picture this time - a failure I will remedy on my next visit! Other options look equally appetizing, I look forward to sampling them. Glad to have this option in the area.“
“Got here a few minutes before opening and there was a line. Very cordial and fast moving as they had 2 greeters and registers going. Plenty of parking.Waitress I had was Jennifer…very friendly and always checked in to see if everyone in her section needed anything..don’t have to worry about running out of beverage, as she was on top of it.Food - everything was hot and fresh..which is a very welcoming appeal to buffets, as sometimes when they first open..warmers aren’t always hot. The popcorn shrimp was a little crispier than what I like..but that’s just me and I won’t discredit them for that. Desserts…holy whoa..they “fudge brownie”…heaven on a plate. It’s the standard run of the mill Golden Corral buffet options but something about this one here in Spartanburg seemed different. It’s like they all have a friendly tone to them and it’s just very welcoming overall.I will be back and definitely give this a 5*.Parking: Huge parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and wide open for those in wheelchairs. Buffet tables are easily accessible.“
“Never a bad trip to The Beacon! Food was fresh, and the car hop was quick w the food and genuinely nice.Been goin to there for over 40 years. It is good to see folks still working there from so many years ago. The food is still amazing! Service is still Beacon service which is one of a kind!“
“My family and I dined here for our first time. Our dinner was delicious ! We ordered the butter burgers with cheese and different fixins. Our grandson also tried the pretzel bites. I can't tell you when I devoured my burger so quickly. Everything was delicious !!! The atmosphere was nice and the entire place spotless . Our food was served fresh and warm and all of the staff were friendly and smiling. Especially this elderly gentleman tidying up the tables. He was the kindest ! To top all this greatness off our meals were served SO SO fast !! The only thing cold was the shakes which we could not pass up. Thank you Culver's. We are definitely regular customers now.Wheelchair accessibility: If you have mobility issues or need a wheelchair you won't have any difficulties here.“
“I’m not too into restaurants with so many screens but this is the exception! Went there for the second time today and the food was great! Best chipotle ranch I’ve had in a long time, good wings, great burgers, good appetizers. But I really came here to brag on the service staff. Today, Chris was the one to take our orders and bus our table and he was great! Very attentive, kind, and helpful. Will definitely go back!“
“First class all the way. Friendly and attentive staff, very clean restaurant with good ambience. The food so far has not disappointed. We've been twice and tonight opted for their calzone. I have to admit not bad for this part of the country. Their sauce is very good, too. Overall, this has become my wife and mine go-to local joint. Try it, you won't regret it!“
“Burger was excellent, the chips I got were kinda chewy, which is great if you like them that way, but the fries I stole off the plate of my friend were very good. I'm not sure why we had to wait 20 minutes when I could see 6 empty tables from the front door.“
“Hadn't been here in 2 years and had Bruzers (formally Local F.I.G.) today. Met Adrienna at the bar and she IS AWESOME! I'll be coming back more often now, $3 ,mimosa Mondays are awesome. The food is fantastic too! I had the Brunch Philly Omelette! Coen check it out if you're debating on coming. 100% worth it.“
“Love the food one of my favorite things to get is the 'All Star"with scrabble eggs and bacon or sausage, and the people there are nice and are very happy and energetic. My fav drink is either the Chocolate milk or OJ. So yes I DEFINITELY recommen 10-10 chefs kissKid-friendliness: They are so nice they even have Jukebox so the kids can play music but don't do anything classical play some hip hop or R&B“
“Stopped in for breakfast and this has got to be one of my favorite breakfast spots. The restaurant is attached to a truck stop but the atmosphere is very inviting and clean. The waitress was very friendly and the food came out rather quickly. My favorite dishes were the fried pork chops and the grilled pork chops with grits. The pancakes melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this restaurant“
“We went on Thanksgiving evening. The Thanksgiving Buffett was earlier that day but, we really wanted to try dinner there so that was not a problem. Our first time at Sparks and the dinner did not disappoint us. Food was prepared exactly as we ordered, our waiter was accommodating and pleasant. We will go back again.“
“I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. The vegetables, rice, and meat are usually separated, but I had already mixed it up for the picture. I love this place because they're always consistent. They fill your plate up. Food is good, has a great taste, and service is fast if you call it in and pick it up. The customer service has been good each time I've gone. They've never gotten any of my orders wrong, and they remember to put the extra sauces I order in the bag.“
“Awesome lunch!!! Food prepared that even Gordon Ramsay would love!! Samantha our server was beyond exceptional!! She made some nice choices off the menu that we loved. We are moving to the area and I am so glad this was the first restaurant we chose to experience!! We will definitely be back!!“
