Charlie's is one of those small local places. The owner takes pride in how he treats his customers. The food is that southern cooking that just brings you comfort. The atmosphere is not Charming but the food more than makes up for that, overall it is a good place to get Great Southern food.
Fish sandwich didn't have much in it, and thin fish. Fries & onion rings too done. Slaw horrible! Really gooky with mayonnaise. Hotdogs are delicious! Love the milkshakes and ice creams!

Nov 2023 - Post annual day after Thanksgiving Hike. Rip knew the most local spot for refreshments near where we left the extra car. Not sure Charlie’s was open at 2:30 on Friday. But we were the only customers for soft drinks and ice cream. Nice art of “Charlie?”
