Unfortunately this store is lacking. The duck donuts that I am accustomed to from the Outer Banks in Virginia Beach far surpass this area's attempts. In no way is this a reflection of the employees. The employees are great; however, the donuts do not live up to the price. I have been purchasing donuts at duck for the last several years in the Outer Banks and this store is sub par to the expectations of a patron expecting the quality of duck donuts. Donuts anyway you can create them! Stopped here to check them out and got 6 different kinds. Everyone of them was good, but the maple bacon is absolutely amazing! Next visit we will be trying the donut sundae! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good sweet snack or dessert!

We used to love coming here. Always yummy and fresh. Apparently you're supposed to make the donuts fresh for every customer. However the past three times we've come in, our donuts have been ice cold. Nasty. Not sure how they went from serving fresh hot donuts to ice, feeding cold donuts. They're yucky. And no one wants cold donuts?? We used to come almost every day but i guess we won't anymore.
