“Ponderosa Fish Market & Restaurant has very fresh fish and shrimp. They were very courteous and our order wasvery prompt. I could not hsve asked for netter service! I went over there because they were listed as having Perch according to the Old Raeford Rd fish hatchery. This was my first visit and certainly will not be my last! The perch was sold out by 4p. However, I opted for Popenoe and I was not disappointed. My husband enjoyed the shrimp before I could snap a picture ?. I cooked the cabbage as an alternative vegetable. The plate included hush puppies, fish (popenoe-our choice), coleslaw, fries, shrimp (additional fee). Everything was cooked to perfection! This will be our Friday night go to for quite a while! You may have the fish dressed anyway you desire, cooked or not, as a plate with regular accompaniments or not. The price were extremely reasonable! See you next Friday...“

“The first time eating there, I had the steak and cheese it was just OK. Not bad, I've had better. My wife had chicken wings, nothing to write home about, but ok when you got sauce. Great service, nice folk neat place. Mediterranean food coming I'll try them again. I remain hopeful. The manager was a real nice guy.“
