Food is good most of the time. Service can be slow but they are nice. 3 stars because of the hours being incorrect online for awhile now. I went 2 Sundays around 6 and 7 and they were closed both times but Google says it was open. Gas is too high right now to be playing the guessing game.

Food was horrible!!! No flavor at all!! I should have known when a 18yr old girl said she was the cook. Worst Jamaican food I ever had in my life!! More of a club not restaurant

I pulled up at 11pm fresh in town from flying in, the lady there who cooks the food was really nice and the jerk chicken pasta tastes really good as she said it did. I appreciate it.

The oxtail has no flavor doesn't taste like they put any seasoning in it. I spent $16 for a side of oxtail not including the tip. They put it in a small styrofoam container by the time I got home all of the juice was in my car because it was not sealed

They rude customer service here is not worth the hassle for the food. The woman upfront has been nasty towards us upon us walking in both times we went to the point we won’t be going anymore

I came in last night for jerk wings. The food was okay . Wings were hot and fresh but my side of plantains came with two little ones. On top of that, I ordered a margarita while I waited with 1800 reposado. she said she had to charge me for the shot separately. I understand that because liquor costs different amounts and for inventory purposes. However, she literally charged me the $10 (which is what the margarita was priced on the menu) and another $10 for the shot of reposado. $20 is absolutely ridiculous for a tiny margarita in a plastic cup in Fayetteville. I’ve ordered that exact drink before and it’s never been that much.

Island flava??? More like “ISLAND FLAVORLESS”. This place has potential but it was disappointing.
- First off the fish and rice and peas lacked flavor. It was a disappointment to my husband who was starving all day. You’re better off going to Salt N Pepper by compare foods. 10/10!!!
- They served my husband water in a Pepsi Cola grey cup and it tasted like soda. It was the kind of cup you have in your house after collected it from a fast food restaurant or a cousins house. Hilarious but unprofessional.
- The restaurant opened late. When you make people wait after 3pm I would HOPE the food would be amazing but it WAS NOT. If you open at 3pm, make sure employees open the door by 2:55pm AT LEAST. Make sure your employees are inside to OPEN THE DOORS for customers who should not spend their money here.
- The restaurant is dark and in need of a renovation. The place could look more inviting if it weren’t for the burgundy walls and the lack of light. The air was not on nor were the fans. I had to fan myself with the menu, it’s embarrassing. Especially when it’s 80 degrees outside.
- The employees should be in the business 15-20 minutes before opening to get the air going and the place ready for customers. It was uncomfortable and musty.
- The lack of alcohol supply makes this place look empty, although I do not consume alcohol the establishment needs to stock up. It looks dry in there. Especially when you are a “lounge” everyday during certain hours.
- The music, food, nor the aesthetic gives “Jamaican vibes” AT ALL. Bring Jamaica to me, don’t make me fly to Jamaica in order to experience it. I’m supposed to gain the experience from the restaurant if it’s going to exploit the culture. At other carribean restaurants in Fayetteville, the ambiance makes you feel as if you are on the island. This place does not.
- Also, nobody’s relative should be lying on the red couch in the restaurant. It’s unprofessional.

The only PRO is the server, she was helpful and kind. But the place is in need of a big renovation. From the food quality to the aesthetic, it does not look inviting or welcoming. I would not recommend bringing someone here for a date. This restaurant is better off turning into a drive thru during daytime hours because no one wants to sit inside a depressing environment.
