We were at la Chuladas on a Business Trip and it was by far the best food we had in the United States. Went on to go there every day for four weeks. Love it. Greetings from Germany.
This place has great, authentic Mexican food. We like non-corporate dinning and stopped here on Cinco de Mayo. We've returned once already. It may look a little run-down but the food and people are great!

La Chulada is an incredible authentic Mexican restaurant that offers a fantastic dining experience. The menu features a wide variety of fresh, handmade dishes, including delicious barbacoa tacos, asada tacos, tamales, and huaraches. The restaurant also has a grocery section with a great selection of authentic Mexican items, making it a one-stop shop for all your Mexican food needs. The kitchen hours are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 8am-5pm, and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
This small restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, with fresh homemade tortillas, fresh salsa, and fresh everything—you can even watch them make your food. The portions are big, and while some may find it a little overpriced, the flavors are absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and though the place is small and could use some organization, the energy is good. With plenty of parking available, La Chulada is a must-visit for anyone craving a truly authentic Mexican experience.
