Its a Japanese steak house where the chef entertains while making your meal. Even if the chef is tired, they give their all. The can tend to be comedians as well.

Kind of expensive, but very fun. Food was good, and there was a very good ambiance

They give you sooooooo much food. Worth the $$$$.

Monica was our server and if you are a server yourself and want to really enjoy yourself with not worrying about the server aspect GO AND ASK FOR MONICA !!!!! The food was also absolutely amazing and 10/10 will go back. !!!!

AhhMazingg chefs and food!! Love the way they cook to order, and right in front of you, you get a decent sized portion, too!!!

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly but also could be very romantic, for just a couple to get away for a date night!

Everyone who works here is super sweet and attentive.

We just did not enjoy our first time here today. We didn't get much chicken or shrimp for the price as well.

Came in at dinner time and while the Hibachi side was a 45 minute wait, we were able to sit in the Sushi section right away.

Service was good, our server and sushi chef were attentive. The food (sushi and hibachi) was subpar for the following reasons:
- seafood freshness was questionable (the yellowtail & salmon had an odd taste), the octopus was chewy (my wife had to spit it out)
- the baked oysters were not good, the tomato sauce was overwhelming (and it doesn't even taste good) and the top was charred/burnt
- ginger was dry and tasted like a paper
- the hibachi was bland, had two slices of mushroom.. no onions or zucchini :/?

I'm nitpicking since I've traveled to Japan multiple times and Japanese prepare their sushi with intricate attention and respect of the food, our chef was throwing the fish blocks back into their trays. The sashimi/nigiri slices were unproportioned :/... just displeased with what we observed.

Quite frankly, Wegman's grocery store bought sashimi/nigiri tasted better.

Finally, this place could use some good scrubbing and sweep. The waiting/lounge area on the Sushi section was filthy (trash everywhere).

They told us we would be seated in twenty to twenty five minutes an hour and ten minutes later we finally sat down and then we waited another half an hour or more for our chef to come to the table.. Our chef was excellent. Our server was excellent. Our food was excellent. It just would've been nice for the hostess to give us a realistic. Wait time, that's all we were there for 3 hours. That's a long time at the restaurant. With two little kids. They said they were short chefs, so I definitely would go back again because the food was superb.

It was the day after Valentines. I figured we would have to wait forever. We didn't have to wait too long. Our chef's name was Jeffrey. He was fabulous. I was with a friend and our too younger daughters. The chef really interacted with the girls and engaged them. The whole table had a great time because of his antics with our girls. The food was fabulous and a hefty portion.
