“This is a little hole in the wall spot, but foodies know that's often where you find the best food. Ultimately, this place did not disappoint. We had the kimchi pancake-very flavorful and large enough for all four of us. We had the croaker (whole fish) and the Galabi beef, which my party enjoyed. The kimchi options were also great, except the zucchini was a bit bland. I had the bimbimb and had them add shrimp because I'm a pescetarian. Getting this accommodation was a bit of a task as they didn't have any shrimp dishes on the menu, but eventually they did make it for me and it was good after adding a lot of Korean red sauce and soy sauce. The bimbimbab was fresh, but just ok with flavor without the sauces. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. My only suggestion would be to have other seafood options, outside of the whole fish and the soup.“

“1st time here and it was great! We had the crispy chicken fries, and drink x2 =$20 chicken sandwich nice and crispy and big. Fries were shoestring fries( may favorite) Afterwards had a nice thick strawberry shake! Service was amazing and as it got busier they made sure they had help taking orders! We had a flounder/shrimp platter with fried okra, a porkchop plate with white rice, fried okra, a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a salad and a chicken fried steak plate with double mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only complaint was the white rice. It was definitely instant rice. That's never appetizing. We're Filipino and know good rice. This wasn't it.“

They didn't give us any hassle that it took us a few minutes to get back. Customer service was outstanding. Food was absolutely perfect & came out quick. Especially considering the fact that every table was occupied. The very BEST part? I just noticed my to go container for my leftover lasagna is labeled with what it is and the date. I ordered the BYO burger and also got a side of truffle fries. The burger was cooked to order and was one of the best burgers I had in the city! The fries were great too. “Listen, when I tell you that the food I ordered was AH-MAZING, bayyyy bay it was delicious! I hadn’t been to bento box in years. I actually forget that they are over there. My husband and I were hungry and was leaving the Harris Teeter parking lot, so I said let’s go to Bento box. When we walked in the atmosphere was quiet and there were plenty of tables available to sit at. Although we got our food to go. So I got the salmon bento box with mixed veggies, house salad w/ ginger dressing, and brown rice! I wanted fried rice, but bc my husband was recently diagnosed as a diabetic I have been trying my best to change my diet with him in order to help him make better food choices. I wasn’t crazy about the brown rice bc I am used to white or fried rice, but the salmon was cooked to perfection! I don’t like my salmon too soft. I like it to be cooked well. It was cooked to perfection! The flavor was delicious! The sauce was delicious! Bc we were trying to save a little money after spending a ridiculous amount of money at the Ft Bragg fair at first my husband and I only ordered a meal for each of us and said we would share with our son. However, when the meal came out and we saw how good it looked, both of us looked at each other like I don’t want to share this with NOBODY! LOL! So we ordered a third meal for our son. My son wasn’t crazy about it, but don’t go by him bc he doesn’t like Asian food. However, out of everything in that box he ate every bit of that salmon and the salad so that ought to tell you something! LOL! He is 18 years old and very finicky btw! The salad was super fresh btw!

I don’t do a lot of reviews, but I just had to do a review bc I was definitely impressed. I wasn’t feeling good the day I went in and I just wanted to pick up something real quick so I could go home and eat a good meal and relax. This meal definitely hit the spot! Big Kudos to Bento box! “This place is definitely a must try. We visited from NY and decided to go for lunch and was blown away. The lunch menu definitely gives you a good bang for your buck. We also ordered hush puppies as an appetizer and they were sooooo good. Our biggest regret was that we didn't make it there for a second visit during our stay. Food delicious, Chefs (we had 2 )great, fun for all ages. Special Birthday drum and Ice cream and candle perfect for the 10 (Birthday Honorees).
