Just happened to find this place on a road trip. If you like good country cooking with large portions, this is your place. I had cubed steak with gravy mashed potatoes and fried okra. The steak was meaty and tender and the okra was delicious. My only criticism was that the taters were thin. I wonder if they were instant. My wife had pot roast which was also great. Consistently good food and decent service make this a great place to eat anytime. This is a great place for traditional southern comfort food. They have a great menu with lots of options for sides - including several healthier options for those looking to improve their diet. The service is good, although it can be a bit slow at times just like every single restaurant in this economy. We were skeptical after reading reviews but my husband has wanted to try this place for a few months. It was clean and bright! Friendly staff. Quick service. Food was decent! Will be returning!
