This was our second location visiting Copper Penny. Overall we were not impressed. The atmosphere was great and the service was good, however, the food was mediocre at best. My wife and I both felt that it was not worth the $66.00 + tip that we spent. My wife ordered the fillet mignon and I ordered the tortellini with beef and Alfredo. My wife's fillet mignon was over cooked and chewy. My tortellini was ok but nothing to write home about.
Food was good and the girl that was our waitress was very nice. But, the manager that has the star tattoos on her neck was rude. She told us when we got there our wait was 40 mins to an hr. Our wait time hit an hr and 30 minutes so i told her 30 minutes over an hr is a long time from what you told us. The pimento cheese balls were outstanding—rich, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as ordered, and the baked potato was light, fluffy, and cooked just right. We also shared the Penny Tower. 😋
