“This was our first time at Madras. Great food…loved the roasted cauliflower with green goddess dipping sauce. My husband loved the octopus. The outside Wednesday night band was an excellent bonus!!“

“Ajja has been on my list for awhile now and I am happy to have gone last night. I have read countless reviews and I will agree- it is very good. But, it was not knock-your-socks-off amazing. I enjoyed the meal but I must say, the dessert stole the show. Flies did kinda take away from the ambience - but I get it, it’s summer in Raleigh and we ate on the coveted patio. I’ll go through what we ordered:
- htipiti: the whipped feta that reminded me of pimento cheese. Really enjoyed but it was a very small serving for $11 (9/10)
- assorted pickles: good I am a pickle lover and just wanted to try them (7/10)
- spinach and cheese sfiha: (not pictured) tasty but not as cheesy as the title suggests. I thought it was very acidic and I don’t know if I loved the addition of pickled mushrooms (again I love pickles it was just a bit much, didn’t feel like those flavors meld together) (6/10)
- coffee roasted carrots: tasty but nothing spectacular. I wanted more flavor on these. (6/10)
- charred cabbage & broccoli: this one was extremely unique. Again very acidic but I reallly enjoyed the flavors. The porcini tehina balanced out the acid but there wasn’t enough of it imo, the mushroom 'nuoc cham' was really what elevated this dish! It had an Asian infused flavor that was enjoyable. This dish would have been addictive if the acidity was toned down a hair (7/10)
- lamb seekh: saw this on many reviews. Very tender but did get some questionably chewy bits. The flavor was very good though. The accoutrements however: labneh, sweet pea chermoula, pistachio - I could have eaten by the spoonful (7/10)
- blueberry posset: now this, I could bathe in. The brown butter tahini chantilly- I didn’t know how bad I needed this in my life. It was addictive. Paired so well with the blueberry, the tahini oat crumble & kataifi crunch was the perfect touch to give it some bite. (10/10 absolutely no notes) I would go just for this. Perfectly salty & sweet.
Again, I came for my birthday and it was nice. The meal was good. The dessert was great. Overall, I just wish everything was a little less acidic! Some things were almost hard to have more than a few bites of. I’m curious if anyone else has these thoughts. Next time I would get the tagine. I wish they had 1 more salad-esque dish from the market menu.. The service was awesome though! And vibes were great. There were a lot of flies though (like at one point there was probably 7-9 flies on our food…)“

“Caleb, Kayla, and Kai were friendly and made ordering easy. Their positive attitudes made my lunch experience an amazing one even though the interaction was brief. The staff make this location an easy choice when deciding what to have for lunch/dinner.“

“The service is friendly and attentive - Mike took good care of us. The menus is limited for tapas BUT the hummus was delicious fresh and the contrast of dark cherries was creative we loved it. The beef kabobs are a favorite though I prefer lamb. I would definitely return and I will wait for the new menu - hopefully there will be more diversity on the small plates ( fish option).“

“Excellent quick bites Mediterranean restaurant right across from the entrance to Meredith College. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff, clean spacious single stall bathrooms, multiple seating options inside & out. Great variety of options & food prepared quickly & accurately. This was exactly what I had in mind for quick quality eats.“

“We had dinner here and the food was delicious. Everything was so well done and the staff was very helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions. The portions were generous and we brought home enough for another meal. We will be back and highly recommend!“

“Wonderful experience for our anniversary dinner at Rosewater! The restaurant has great energy, beautiful aesthetic and the food was phenomenal. My only complaint was the noise level - we could hardly hear each other across the table. I was hoping for an intimate dinner in this beautiful space, but the acoustics are such that the sounds of voices, utensils clanking, etc. just bounce around the room. When it's busy - and their dining room is usually busy - you have to talk louder to be heard, which compounds the problem. Otherwise, our service was fantastic!“

“Incredibly delicious food!! The falafel was perfectly sized and a good moisture level. Everything was beautifully flavorful. I did find it odd to have unpitted Kalamata olives in a bowl, but they were still yummy. I wish we had one of these in Charleston, WV!“

“Went to this location tonight for the first time. Did an online pickup order and showed up earlier than pickup time. Made conversation with Sara (she pronounced her full name but I'm stupid and couldn't repeat it) and she was super friendly and helpful. I ordered my bread wrong and she took the time to cut it for me even after she had already wrapped it up. The food tasted great, too. I'll be back.“

“I've loved Jasmin for a long time! (They used to have a location at the old Cary Towne Center mall food court, I believe.) My go to is the Chicken Zaki. The meat is fresh, the special sauce on the Zaki is amazing and their hummus is sooo good! My husband loves their falafel.“

“I came to this restaurant on a whim. Was visiting Raleigh and every fast food seemed to be wrapped around the building around 11pm, decided to try GY and I was pleasantly satisfied. The food was pretty good and I don’t think it’s overpriced. I tried the veggie pita but added chicken to it because I wanted more of a chicken souvlaki and it was pretty good. Fries were pretty tasty and it was a really chill atmosphere. I don’t see why more people aren’t coming to GY— they’re open til 4am which is insane! Definitely will be back.“

“My son decided to take us out to this Absolutely delightful restaurant on the ninth floor we sat on the out door balcony just after dark ,the views were stunning all the downtown buildings were lit up .the light though out the restaurant gave off an Enchanting mellow atmospheric jib, which gave you the feeling of being in a kind of Exotic location ,the excellence of the service, the absolutely Exquisite food presentation Coupled
with the atmosphere really added to the experience. I highly recommend this beautifully located restaurant and we had the best server in the entire restaurant that was Melissa. She was right on point. Always thinking ahead to make sure we had everything we needed for an enhanced amazing dining experience. .
Parking: The views from the waiting area restaurant. Are absolutely spectacular.
Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility Play parking garage there is An elevator to the ninth floor and right straight into the restaurant Waiting area and then straight into the restaurant itself. All is very accessible.“

“Our first visit ever today while on the search for kunafa and Habibi did not disappoint. Every single thing we had was delicious; literally the best falafel I have ever eaten! The mandy rice with the mixed grill kebab was excellent and the kunafa was perfect. We'll be returning soon!“
