“Havent been here in awhile and went to celebrate a birthday. I noted this when I made the reservation as well as mentioned it to our server but unfortunately the birthday wasn’t acknowledged in any way; disappointing. In addition we had a reservation for a table for 5 and put us right next to the bar, also unfortunate since it was thoroughfare for staff and service people. Checked out the menu on line before choosing the restaurant and particularly went here for a specific dinner entree listed. Come to find out the actual menu had changed and the entry was no longer available or on the menu. Those are the negatives. The cocktails were good; fresh like springtime. The food was also very good. Everyone in the party enjoyed what they ordered and we all had a variety of items…steak, pasta, and seafood dishes. We ate indoors but outside dining is also available. Ive never had a bad meal here.“
“I am a huge fan of Baba Ghanooj especially the lunch buffet. It is definitely worth the price. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The tzatziki sauce, the coriander hummus, roasted eggplant, grape leaves, baba ganooj, falafel and pita all are fresh and delicious. In addition theres the lentil soup, chick pea curry, and various other options. Not only is the food really good, the service is also incredible. I arrived one time a little after the lunch buffet had closed, but I was graciously told fresh falafel and pita bread would be made just for me!! I was amazed and gratified by the gesture. This will continue to be among my top favorites.Vegetarian options: Tzatziki sauce, the coriander hummus, roasted eggplant, grape leaves, baba ganooj, falafel and pita, lentil soup, chick pea curry, and various other options.“
“My family and I have been ordering from Kitchen Queen for the last few months and it has become one of our favorite places in Durham. The food has always been consistently delicious, of good quality, and fresh. We love that it is a family owned and run restaurant that is caring and gracious to their customers. We recently decided to order catering from Kitchen Queen and they did a fantastic job. They provided us with Mediterranean fare including but not limited to baba ganoush, hummus, falafel, kebab, and stuffed grapes leaves (which were our favorite). They were professional, timely, and took the greatest care in the presentation of the platters (see pictures attached). They were able to meet the group’s dietary restrictions that included a vegan diet and nut allergies. All our guests loved the food and asked for the restaurant’s name and location. Please visit and order from this great Mediterranean place! We also highly recommend their fish fry and fried okra.Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians and vegans!!!!Dietary restrictions: They were able to work with our nut allergies and vegan diet.“
“Although not publicly advertised, the majority of the food here is Halal (except the beef stakes). Make sure to ask before each visit just to be sure in case things have changed. The staff are friendly and the many of the kitchen crew only speak Arabic. Will definitely come here again.“
“Amazingly good vegetarian plate. It comes with falafel, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghanoush, hummus, Greek salad, and Pita triangles. It is the best mediterranean I have had in a while.Vegetarian options: Halal and vegan options available.Dietary restrictions: Dairy free/egg free and Halal.“
“All I can say is get your taste buds ready!!! Great customer service "Oscar" is awesome!Worth the visit foodies?❤️Parking: There's parking spots in front but there's also, several businesses in the area of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There's outside seating under the building and outside in the sun. There's waiter serving for accessibility.“
“Had to feed a crowd of teenagers in a school play for dress rehearsal. I was able to use the catering menu to order individual boxed sandwiches, sides and dessert for a reasonable price. Saladelia printed individual names, menu option and food allergies (if any) on each box. There was some confusion around delivery or pick up of the order, but they sorted it all out with a smile and wonderful service. Will definitely use the catering again. Thank you.Dietary restrictions: Very accomodating on dietary restrictions.“
“Great place in the 9th Street District. The food was exactly what I expected with all the traditional choices. The service was quick and friendly!Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian dishes.Dietary restrictions: They were very open to altering any dish.Parking: Parking is on the street but plenty was available.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Seems ADA compliant“
“Great meal. Sat at the bar and received excellent service. Good value, as well. Restaurant is located in an upscale strip mall, but that's pretty standard. Not my favorite type of setting, but the food and the staff made up for it. We will return!“
