Penn Station East Coast Subs

We have eaten here four times and each time it was delicious! I have only ordered the hibachi chicken wrap (I'm a creature of habit) and it was consistently great each time. My husband changes up but has liked everything he has ordered. We like our fries a little crispier than their usual style so we requested them crispy and they gladly did it for us! They have excellent honey mustard.

There are very few employees who genuinely leave a lasting impression on customers, but Friday at Penn Station East Coast Subs does exactly that every single time my family and I walk through the door. Customer service today often feels rushed, robotic, or transactional, but Friday completely changes that experience. From the moment we enter the restaurant, his energy lights the entire place up. He greets us with enthusiasm, positivity, and professionalism that instantly makes us feel welcomed and appreciated.

What stands out the most is how personal he makes every interaction feel. I have a very large family, and somehow Friday remembers each of our names, our usual orders, and always takes extra care to make sure everything is correct. That level of attention to detail is rare anywhere, especially in a busy restaurant environment. He never makes us feel like “just another customer.” Instead, he treats us like family, and that kind of genuine hospitality cannot be taught. It comes naturally from someone who truly cares about people.

Even when the restaurant is busy, Friday maintains the same incredible attitude and consistency. He is patient, attentive, and always carries himself with professionalism while still making everyone around him smile. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely wants every customer to leave happy. Employees like him are the reason customers return again and again.

The food is always great, but the experience Friday provides is what keeps us coming back so often. In all honesty, if Friday were not there, we probably would not visit nearly as much as we do. He has become such a positive and memorable part of our family’s visits that the restaurant simply feels different without him there.

Management should truly recognize what an asset he is to this establishment because employees with this level of dedication, personality, and customer care are extremely hard to find. Friday doesn’t just provide customer service… he creates an experience that makes people want to return.

Without Friday, it just feels like another boring Monday!

Went there on cheese steak day. Placed online order. When I got there, order did not go through. They were very apologetic and provided me with 2 free subs and 2 fries gift cards for the wait.

Really good food. Went here after no one came to the counter after a few minutes next door at Hungry Howies. Glad we did! Staff was very friendly and helpful with menu questions. They have points program too, so I'll be coming back!

We walked in 30 minutes before closing and I was expecting attitudes. Boy was I wrong, the team was so happy, bubbly and ready to serve us. This was my 1st time here and I must say that the food was just as good as the experience. We'll be back!

Ms Jodi and the staff tonight were excellent! We were greeted very warmly by Ms Jodi her customer service was excellent she was very patient and helpful it was my family’s first time eating at Penn Station and they did not disappoint.
Food was delicious. We shall return.
