Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

This seems to be an iconic lunch spot for locals with great food and very friendly staff. Being from the Midwest, it is very comforting for the south to finally come through with a good cheese steak (still not as good as a super cheesy beef from Papa G's). The staff checked on you better than most formal restaurants. Also, the fries were a beautiful golden brown with a good crispy texture without being overcooked.

Very nice clean , friendly, and fast service. Everyone I have encountered who works there is so nice and helpful.

Excellent home cooking

Terrible service. The waitress started off good. Came back checked. And never came back to our table. I wanted to leave a good tip is what I told the manager, and all he said was it’s her first day, we are training, not a sorry. I wanted to put this on my radio show so bad. This was my first bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else again. And they were nonchalant about it. Smh

Hwy 55 on Wayne Memorial Dr.has a very good atmosphere. The workers are friendly. They greet you at the door, also they acknowledge you when you leave. The food that I received today was Yummy 😋 Thanks a Bunch. #AWFlowers

I ordered philly cheese steak no cheese no mushrooms they put both on the sandwich i noticed this after driving all the way home i sgould not have to verify order to ve correct when paying 15 dollars for a meal when i went back to have it fixed i asked for a lenonade and orange aid to compensate the inconvenience and was asked to pay for not only the drinks but also the fries i wont be visiting this hwy 55 again when you mess up you pay up one way or another they did not so they got this review for not taking accountability for there mistake.

Gabby was our server. Super nice. Service was fast. Food was great. We couldnt ask for a better experience.

I came in with three of my boys and stood in the second line. Several people came to that cash register and they never acknowledged us so we got out of the second line and got to the back of the first line and as soon as we stepped out of line. There was a lady she came off the cash register to help the lady at the second cash register. No one acknowledged us. No one asked us for any help.Unfortunately I heard these stories but today i experienced it myself.

Great food, great service, great prices.

My son and I went here to eat, and this place was crazy busy. These people worked so well together. They were slamming out orders. This crew that worked on 3-12-25 in the evening was kicking but. It was truly one of the best Hwy55 I have ever been to.

Even with short stuff they did their best job and was amazing to the hard work from the waiters and managers

Food is always good and delivery order are always right and hot when you can actually order for delivery
