The decor needs a refresh/overhaul. They just increased their lunch buffet prices and it's now around $14 per person if you qualify for discounts --so no more $21 for 2 buffet lunches. The salad bar is very good. The hot buffet line always has some fish choice (s) and fried chicken, whole kernel corn, green beans and mac and cheese. Everything was wonderful except the food. The food terrible no flavor, all vegetables were from the can ,cooked to mush, the only seasoning was on the canned collards which had cinnamon and sugar in them, nasty. All of the meats were dried out and chewy, with no seasonings at all. Could be a wonderful place with the right cooks. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk and hotsauce, before coating with the seasoned flour to cook.

By far, one of my favorite eateries! I get my smash on at Murray's at least 1-3 times per week. Not only do they have a nice variety of fried fish, green vegetables, and beans/peas, but Murray's is the only buffet spot that I've come across that has "pork-free" veggie options. The price is very reasonable and the service is always on point. No complaints whatsoever!!!
