Favorite restaurant in town, food is ALWAYS delicious.
Just left Laughing Owl after sitting at our table for about 15 minutes with no one stopping to get our drinks. I understand restaurants are busy this time of year but for a table to come in,sit down, and get drinks and appetizers before anyone even says hello to us is no good. When I mentioned something to the hostess, I basically got a “sorry, we’re busy”.
Luckily, on our way out the door we were able to deter a few families from going in after we told them the situation.
Ok, here goes. We had to wait twenty minutes to get our drink orders. We waited another twenty minutes for the waitress to check on us. An hour after we ordered our food, we were told it would be another hour before it was done. Don't go there if you want good service.
Added: my wife noted that the server made four or five trips to the same table while hardly making an effort to check on us.
