“I am by no means a “foodie” but I believe my partner & I are fair judges when it comes to Asian cuisine. We predominantly eat & cook Asian and Thai food is our favorite. When I say this is the best Thai food I’ve eaten, it’s no joke! We decided this was overall the best MEAL we have eaten all year. The waitress was so kind & attentive. The owner came out & thanked us for our kind words & even gave us some lemongrass from her own garden to take home. This is an absolute hidden gem & if you love Thai food it’s a MUST visit if you find yourself in Goldsboro. PS: Thai hot is HOT!!“

“I had a call in order of a smoke sausage sandwich with egg and cheese...and when I tell you Ronnie, Chad and Lee made my sandwich with love. I bit into it... stopped and called and told them how wonderful it was. The absolute best breakfast sandwich I have had in a long time!!!“

“If you like eastern NC bbq and home-style cooked meals this is the place to go. We ordered a family special that had fried chicken, pork bbq, and two sides: we chose mac n' cheese and butter beans (lima beans). The meats were all amazing, tasty, chicken crispy and hot! Bbq was delicious - they make it the right way! Mac and cheese is a little bit on the heavier side as you can expect but it's cheesy, noodles are cooked well, sauce has flavor. We ordered online for a pick-up and our order was ready on time. The prizes are fair in general - the only thing though, I wish there was a lil bit more pork bbq that comes with the family special :) Anyhow, we have more then enough food to last us all day.We also visit the restaurant on ocassion for their Sunday buffet and as you can expect it gets busy. You can eat as much as you want but we prefer to order the meal to go because it is freshly made for us and we didn't like how the customers would dig through and mix up the trays contents of food. I know that is NOT the restaurants fault and should be the common courtesy of customers not to dig around and play with foods like they are the only ones eating it. We witnessed a gentleman stirring up a tray of banana pudding dessert into a huge mess of slop which was quite rude and uncivilized.If you want to try a little bit of each that is a perfect option. They have so many choices and the fried shrimp, baked chicken, ribs, and chicken pastry are all great. The only thing we dislike are the collard greens which need some heavy recipe adjusting. The servers are all kind and will refill your cups aaaaall the time.If you have a big crowd definitely try their buffet but if it's just you and a spouse get the take-out and enjoy :)“

“We got take out and the food was quite good. I got what was recommended so I don't know what it was (bulgogi?) I got the beef, wife got noodles. The noodle dish was a little bland and a little strong on the soy sauce taste. Wouldn't get that again. The beef was quite good.“

“Perfect little place to eat fresh, healthy food that is cooked right in front of you. Mongolian has a variety of things you can pick and choose from the buffet bar to have them cook up for you. The food tastes clean and extremely delicious. May have to wait a couple minutes but it is well worth it.“

“My wife and I just came from Japan and the salmon, tuna and scallop nigiri are really good. It's sushiro quality, which we loved. The ginger and wasabi are good too. We will be coming back for more sushi!

“My wife and I tried this place for the first time tonight and we'll definitely be back. I had the shrimp and grits and she had the fried shrimp and baked potato. Both were awesome, though the shrimp and grits had too much sauce for my liking. I also had the small house salad. We both brought a lot home in to go boxes. Excellent value for the money as well.“

“My husband and I ate at Fuji’s steakhouse tonight. It was amazing. High quality food, big portions, and amazing service. The restaurant looks nicely decorated and clean. I spoke with the owner she was so nice and friendly. I have Eaten here many times and every time has been great. I have never been let down here. I highly recommend!“

“The food was very good. My only complaint would be when I very first opened my food there was a small piece of steel wool in the top of my food. They were working there butts off so I'm sure it was a honest mistake. The lady that took are order was very nice and friendly. The food was cooked very well. “This place is incredible! We happened upon it by complete accident. My boyfriend and I had intended to go to another restaurant but found they were closed. In order to turn around we pulled into their parking lot. I was hungry so told my boyfriend to just park and we'd try it. We walked in and in all honesty I was a bit skeptical. Their menu has a wide variety from subs, to pasta, to gyros, to a few Chinese options like crab Rangoon and hibachi. I figured the food wouldn't be great because of the wide range of options, but boy was I wrong. I got the 11' meatball sub combo and my significant other got the 11' Philly cheesesteak combo. When we each took our first bites we had identical looks of "oh my f-ing gosh". We then exchanged sandwiches and found the other ones sandwich was just as good as our own. We were completely blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. Our first time there may have been by accident, but we will definietly be back on purpose very soon.“

“Laughing owl has been downtown for several years now, and it has only gotten better since then. The quality of the food is amazing, it just tastes fresh. If you are looking for Asian Fusion cuisine, this is your place! Highly recommend. My favorite go to is the General Tso Chicken. The environment is so peaceful, I love when they have live music playing. The service is another perk of Laughing Owl, everyone is so nice and super attentive. A very welcoming place for dinner with friends or the whole family!“

“I was introduced to Bonfires since being introduced to it in 2009, and have eaten there almost weekly since then. Chipotle and Moe's can't hold a candle to this place. Sure, some burritos are messier than others and may vary in size, depending on who makes it. But the absolute top-notch quality of the food has never been sacrificed. Everything tastes incredible, and the service is impeccable. Keep doing what you do, Bonfires.“

Kid-friendliness: The waiter was very patient with friendly with out extremely messy toddler and swept up after him numerous times during the meal i was grateful for the positive energy and kindness he showed us

“I usually frequent the Kinston location, but I'm very rarely in Kinston anymore. I was in Goldsboro for the air show and had to stop by and get a hamburger sub. They're so delicious and I miss being able to get them weekly in Kinston. Go give them a try!“

“Go for lunch each week. Food is always wonderful. I’m usually doing work on my computer and they check on me without being overly excessive while I’m working, which I appreciate. I do wish they had a good spot with tables with outlets nearby, I like to eat slow and work at the same time and my computer likes to die sometimes. That’s the only thing that I’d recommend as an improvement! Everything is always great!“

“This review is based off our last visit. Everyone was seated in the bar area which meant it was crowded. Tables were too small. The yeast rolls were not cooked all the way through, very doughy. There were no croutons on our salads. Main entrees were good. Our waitress was good.“
