Went to Barry’s while in NC. The hotel was super cute with different themes. The atmosphere was cool with the old hunt lodge feel. The food & drinks were great. We loved the outdoor area and dock. Highly recommend!
We had dinner here last night and really enjoyed the food! We had the calamari, side salad, lobster sliders, crab soup, and the fried shrimp dinner. Everything was great and my husband loved the soup! It had a hearty flavor. Kind of a tavern in atmosphere, everyone was friendly and service was excellent.
This place reminds me of our favorite local bars from back home but with a much better view! It's been a bit of a challenge to find a local watering hole that also serves food. We got to meet Barry and his wife - they were so welcoming and fun! We got a couple drinks at the bar, and ordered chicken wings, steamed shrimp and lobster sliders. The wings were huge, but only came with buffalo hot sauce which my husband wasn't fond of (sorry!). I really enjoyed the sliders...
