Great staff, great food, great atmosphere 10 out of 10!

Have eaten here several times and the tastes have slowly declined. My last visit was Wednesday Oct 1 and the food poisoning almost killed me at 3:30 am the next morning. Called restaurant and the assistant manager did not offer any sympathy at all. Called health services but will they do anything?

Food and service were horrible. Service was super slow. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered guacamole, had to reask for it after the food came out because they totally forgot about it. The atmosphere was lack luster bland there was no ambiance. Ordered a refill for the sweet tea, came back with warm tea in the glass and no ice. Toilet in the mens bathroom was out of service but no signs to let you know except a trash can sitting on top of the toilet seat. We had gone a few years ago when it opened and was bad but decided to give it another chance and was so disappointed. We will never ever go there again!

Stopped here on my way to Outer Banks with my family. Huge mistake, my husband and two kids got food poisoning. I chose not to eat at the restaurant because the food did not look authentic. Service was fine. Food was a disaster. I’m hispanic and know good hispanic food. I would not recommend to others!

Absolutely loved this spot! The food was so good—highly recommend the tacos and quesadilla, they were both packed with flavor. We were seated right away and taken care of immediately. Our food came out super quick, and the service was awesome they checked in on us regularly without being overbearing. Definitely coming back!

The food here is SO good! We will definitely stop here again on our way home from Rodanthe!

Food is delicious, authentic, service is great, nice atmosphere. Portions are huge and prices are great. Stopped here for a big family dinner on the way back from OBX vacation. Tried El Volcan: it is much bigger than looks on picture, and tastes amazing. Other dishes are great too. Very friendly and attentive service.
