Great Owners , Great Staff . Luxe is the hottest restaurant in the triad . I stand on this as a employee . Since I’ve started working two months ago the experience has been the a dream come true . Growing up I’ve always enjoyed serving my community whether it was volunteering or just going above and beyond at the work assigned . Luxe provided me with the opportunity to progress in life as a man and father and also allowed me to be who I am amongst others much like myself . Our team isn’t perfect and we all make mistakes but what makes Luxe so special is that we’re big on family and as a family we will always make you feel like your at home .

Had the most wonderful bowl of shrimp and grits this evening at Luxe Soulfood & Cocktails. The atmosphere was delightful and our waitress, Zandi, was better than phenomenal. If you’re looking for a nice place to hold a birthday dinner or just simply enjoy dining out with family and/or friends, this is an amazing place for your dining pleasure.

Waffles really good, chicken very good (crispy, not greasy), every dish done right with great flavors, and all at a crazy reasonable price. First time there, just stumbled across it, but we're going back again!

I've always loved Luxe since I moved to Greensboro for college! About a year or so ago they moved into this new, upscale building which doesn't allow for Athletic sandals, revealing clothing, etc. I like the new classy Luxe just as much as I loved the chill/lounge space that the previous brick and mortar provided. Anyways, The food. Just honorable mention, I went here for the fried chicken wings. As you can see by my photos I did not get them because it was BRUNCH! I love a good brunch but I wasn't expecting only a brunch menu. I ended up getting the fried fish & grits + a side of shrimp to put into the entree. I wanted sautéed shrimp but I asked for "shrimp inside my grits" assuming that would be natural sense, which it wasn't. No dig on my waiter she was great! There was just a misunderstanding at that moment. I was gonna send them back but she allowed me to try a fried shrimp and it was really good so I decided to keep them. The Mac is a Luxe staple, the eggs however were kindda rubbery. I'm really picky about my eggs so I sent them back for another side of Mac. - No drinks today, just water & lemon. My friend got the Trifecta and 3 sides, of course I can't speak much on how that tasted but she seemed pretty satisfied! All in all - On a weekend or week day, this is a great place to sit down and take a beat with great food and a beautiful environment. We were sat on the patio & it was a really nice afternoon. 10 outta 10 recommend!

My hat goes off to the Chef. I ordered the Salmon with Gouda grits. It was absolutely amazing. We were visiting and don't in Greensboro. So this was definitely a pleasant surprise. My meal was so savory and rich. It was cooked to perfection!!! I also ordered the strawberry Mule. I love the decor and the environment. It's a whole vibe within itself. We will certainly be back

Came for a late lunch with 6 friends. The food and service was on point! The baked beans are next level soul food, like nothing you've had before. The platters were all delicious- pork chops, fried shrimp, po-boy, fried fish, and salmon! Highly recommend!

Very rude and unaccomodating service. I do not recommend. First off we are visiting from out of town for the Junior Olympics. We were meeting up with our additional team mates for lunch here today. They were already seated when we arrived. It was only 3 of us in our party joining the existing party. They had room at their tables in which we were invited to but the restaurant management apparantely had a HUGE issue with this.Other people from our party tried to discuss this with managment but they wanted us to wait in the lobby for another table. A very unheard of policy where I am from. I put my name in and sat with our teamates but then they proceeded to tell us that we could not even sit at their table. How freaking ridiculous and rude to treat your patrons this way.Yes in a perfect world we would all arrived together but we just came from an event that had disrupted in fights and chaos and we were divided from our group. Needless to say we left and took our business elsewhere and went to eat at the Darry'sWood Fired Grill which was a much more friendly environment and the food was amazing! Highly recommend. I am sorry I stepped foot in this place .

Having heard many good things about this restaurant I was eager to try it. On Sunday afternoon was able to get in with only a 15 minute wait and the food was everything I had heard of more. The parking is a beast so plan plenty of time to maneuver the parking situation. Otherwise greeter and hostess were so friendly. Good didn't take long yo come. Every dish we ordered was so delicious .The portions are average size and the prices are definitely reasonable. The food is some of the best I've had in a while. The place is super busy and worth the wait for the soul food dishes. Food made from scratch no store items.collard greens, potato salad, macaroni and cheese all were good. Typically side dishes are lacking but not in this case. Appetizers. Entrees and side dishes were all great.

I was in the area and we Googled "BOB" and a FB flyer popped up. The picture was enticing. It had crab balls and fried snow crab as the special. So, we decided to give it a try. They are understaffed but Ty was absolutely amazing. She was polite, professional and most of all patient. We had almost an hour wait. We couldn't make reservations but we were 8th on the list so it was understandable. The restaurant was beautiful laid in luxury with a dark black esthetic however it wasn't dark. The lighting is high up so this brightens the room. There are a plethora places to sit with outside viewing. There is nothing closed off about the building as the kitchen and bar are both open viewing. I'm a huge fan of the circular style and layout. Gives it a different feel. The wood high bars are gorgeous too. Bayyyyybeeeee The food was really good. I was very impressed. Let's get in too it. We ordered Teriyaki Glazed Lamb Chops with Gouda Grits, Fried Lobster Tail with Red Velvet waffles that had pecans, chocolate and cream cheese drizzle, Grilled Pork Chop, and Maryland Crab Balls. The food was phenomenal. What a delicious bite! The only concern was the amount of salt in the lobster fry. This could have been a one-off day. They also had Kool-aid (ohhh how I love a good throwback) and an extensive drink list. What a great find! They have been open 6 years but at this location 18 months. I can see why they have staying power! SN: Everything is a-la-cart! So be prepared but there is flexibility in items that are already grouped in a meal!

First off the food is amazing the real star besides the staff. We had a Saturday reservation at noon when they opened and it was a line before they opened. For all the people waiting the staff had a system that worked well to get everyone seated quickly. Our server was great overall food came quickly.

I pass this place driving to my office and on the weekends there are always people waiting outside so I knew it was popular. I went on a Wednesday for lunch. It was a nice crowd but we didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the chicken wings. They allowed you to pick two sauces. I got the lemon pepper and Pineapple BBQ. They were delicious. Kinda tangy with a little kick. I also got a nice side salad and fries. The fries were crispy and nice and hot! They were delicious. The portions were very large. I will be back because there's so many things I want to try.

What an absolute fantastic time we had! It was our first visit. The one suggestion I have for management is to have your "security" to have some sort of LUXE identification on (a T-shirt, hat or something); we were just leaving a track meet & sent the teens ahead to secure a table. One of them still has a bottled water in their hand. "Security" looked like a patron outside & told him he couldn't bring in outside beverages; he didn't identify himself; the teen put it in his pocket as it wasn't an outside trash can & he thought he was a patron. Later while waiting for the table he approached the group & said "didn't I tell you you can't being outside beverages?!" We apologized & explained the confusion. Moving forward, I hope they take our advice & get him a tshirt! Fast forward to our waitress; AMAZING! The food; AMAZING! The Collards were tender & seasoned perfectly. The yams...just wow! The pork chop was a thick slice and fried to perfection. The fried okra had a perfect crunch & was seasoned so well. I wasn't a fan of the cornbread but someone else at the table liked it ... so that was just preference. Did I mention they had RED Kool-aid; not Cherry, RED. The peach cobbler had the right amount of peaches & crust. There wasn't a morsel left on the table. Did I mention that the waitress sent a big shout out to the teens that competed in the National track! Cherry on top for a great meal! We will be back! Thanks!
