Shaundra was the best server. We had a large group with kids and multiple checks and we had a lovely night. She was so flexible, attentive to details and just overall easy going. Food was good and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant without needing to go out into the bad weather. Perfect for a relaxing evening with friends.

We were staying at the Marriott and did not feel like walking or driving and, frankly, the reviews here were not stellar; but tiredness won out. I BEG TO DIFFER with ALL those reviews. We had a wonderful meal with great cocktails. Our server, Andrew, was gracious and made our meal a relaxing experience. Everything arrived in a timely manner and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Well done Bistro 40!

Bistro 40 is in the Downtown Marriott hotel. I didn't have high expectations of a hotel restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast is offered each morning and they do push the buffet but I had the eggs benedict the first morning and it came with hash browns and was really good. the next day I wasn't given a menu just told to eat at the buffet which had fresh fruit; bacon; sausage; scrambled eggs; grits; muffins; cereal and breads.
